Fix to dicing

So yes many including myself love dicing and were devastated to see it go but I do understand the hassle it is so I thought how can we get around that?
It would probably have to be made but you do something like /dice duel (player) (meebles) and when the other person confirms you do, /dice deposit (amount) and it take the money from your bal. FYI: It gives a warning before you type /dice confirm and then you cannot withdraw the money after and then you do /dice play and it shows each persons number. Whoever gets the highest number gets both deposits.

I know this would be work for the techs but I think it would be good.

 

What if you just want to do it for fun? Could you type in /Dice Duel (player) 0.00 meebles?

This would make things so much easier for staff, and it would be just as fun, for it has the same objective.

A lot of issues from dicing also came into being when people would take loans out they cannot pay back, and receive a subsequent ban for that.

While dicing is un, it brought enought toxicity and overall rediculousness that I don't thnk it should be re-added.

 

Give me another reason other than this. To be honest, this isn't even a reason. How the hell can /dice a simple command bring toxicity?

I agree with you, which is why I came to make this thread.

 

I missed this earlier

/dice brought toxicity because people got sore as they lost, and really cocky, annoying, and mean when they won. There was hostility between players, scammed or otherwise, that have diced in the past.
It was upsetting, and it sucked for a lot of people, including those who didn't even do the command.

 

That is the precise point of this thread.

 

The statement applies even if it's impossible to scam.

 

At least the financial side would be sorted. Also the majority want it back so it would make the community more happy as a whole.

 

just cause the majority want it back doesn't mean we can have it. we don't even know yet if techs are willing to/can do this.
and there's the point I alreadt bought up I'm sure staff don't wish to deal with.
I don't know when yo were staff, but moderating ths was very difficult and I had to disapoint a lot of people - it's upsetting when ou're a staff that cares.
