I know this has been suggested before, but I want to suggest it again since it is just riddiculous it wasn't accepted.

As you may know slimeblocks can't be moved by pistons on meepcraft, this is to prevent flying contraptions that can grief one-another.

    Why un-nerf it?
In order to build on of these flying contraptions you will need tons of slimeblocks, and 1 slimeblock costs 2k. So to build a flying machine you will need like 200k, which is a lot for a useless machine, so people won't build it.

There isn't actually a way to grief with this. You can sent flying contraption on to other peoples towns. But it won't do any damage to the town. Once it hits a block any flying machine will immidiatly break and stop moving. Meaning it will bring hunderds of slimeblocks into the other town, and the mayor can come along and pickup all the slimeblocks, which he can sell and earn around 200k. This is not griefing, this is giving someone 200k.

There are however a lot of awesome contraptions you can build with slimeblocks, like player launchers, piston doors, trampolines and more.

One more thing: I have searched the web for slimeblock griefing machines, and I couldn't find anything at all.

The biggest thing would be someone goes and finds a house who's owner has explosions toggled on and the machine flys over to the plot and ignites the tnt causing an explosion on the plot and the griefer could then go pick up loot from the chests or rubble. Another way to grief it is to have the machine fly in with a sticky piston and pick up a block them fly out to steal a block for the player. Not a great way to grief and the best way to not get griefed is to keep perms off when you're not using them but theres still the guy who will try it and staff will have more work to do. I like the idea of player cannons and piston doors but they probably won't un-nerf slime blocks

You can't move tnt with flying machines and make them ignite automaticly, a player must ignite it, which they ofcourse can't do on other peoples plots.

You only need like 2 to make a flying machine that can smash into things, however, I think that this was one of the greatest shortcomings of MeepCraft. One should strive to make our game on the exact same level as the vanilla game, along with redstone functionality.

However, this would be a massive project, so there is a valid reason it hasn't been done. If the server decides it's finally worthwhile investing into it's main game-mode, towny, this would be one thing that should be done.

I did have an idea to solve this, why not disable BUD switches which wouldn't enable the blocks to update and have flying piston machines and let slime blocks be un-nerfed.
Only problem here is that its probably a bigger project than the original of un-nerfing the blocks
