MeepCraft gift/Points Card

I think that It was too early for me to state this kind of topic/thread, but it might help a lot with the server's business regarding the people who donate. This would be effective in the future of having a way to advertise the server by just seeing them beside the mojang gift/points card at the cards counter in a gaming store.

What if MeepCraft had Gift/Points Card that can be bought in (for example) Game-Stop an Electronic Gaming Store, wherein Game-Stop would be selling these Gift Cards where they bought from the MeepCraft Company.
This would be an alternate way for people to donate to Meepcraft without having to use their Credit Cards or PayPal, therefore this would be effective to many people like me. My Mother does not trust any websites especially a game website transaction. She told me that this website might be a scam, rather, she would approve if I would just buy a gift card of Meepcraft in game-stop, which there aren't any of them, probably yet.

This is a good way to advertise, but I don't think enough random minecraft players will buy these cards not knowing what they are for, therefore, the server would be losing money. -1

 

That would be very expensive to implement and would cost meep even more money to get the cards in a desirable position on a gamestop gift card shelf. Good idea, but not for a smaller server like ours.

 

If we had a 1,000,000 person playerbase, yes.

 

They make cards that you can buy anywhere from $50-$200 and are sold at most gas stations or popular super markets that can be used online with paypal or just as a credit card.

Why would people care about random Minecraft server cards at gas stations? Besides, what happens if we want to give a card to someone not next to us? Meepcraft would be losing money. I mean, a specific server not all people play on?! Seriously?

 

You don't have to be kinda mean about it...

-1, it'll cost too much for our needs, you can just buy the prepaid credit cards and use those.

Fuzzlr could just make some and Ebay them.

 

It would be a total waste of money and here's why:

MeepCraft has an average of 300 players on at once at peak time (300-400) All 300 are scattered across the globe and if you put one meepcraft card in EVERY gas station , that's going to be a lot of cards for only 300 people. And the majority might not even buy them .

Yeah, but out of that there are 325 million in the US. And only 20 million people have purchased minecraft. And only half of them are in the US. Also, a majority of those people are already dedicated to a server. That leaves maybe 500,000 to a million people looking for a server. Those people will probably not be going to gamestop or a gas station to find an mc server.

 

Exactly, but what happens if a random elder goes to a gas station for a snack and he sees the ridiculous cards about Meepcraft an he is like wth what are those, instead on seeing gift cards e.t.c.

 

We dont want anything to do with irl $ and buying stuff
