Bank Addition

What if from the bank teller, you could open an actual bank. In the bank, you can store meebles, maybe a double chest of items, etc. based on your donating rank, you can have more and more chests and more meeble space.

Now trust me, I understand that we have enderchests, and town banks, but this could just be an addition.

One thing I want to push for is that what if the bank could be put under your name. So if you go offline for awhile, you could put your meebles in the bank and important items, and then leave. You don't have to worry about your items, so therefore you can enjoy a vacation you might take!

Just an idea, hope you like the idea!

 

To add to the meebles part, can we perhaps set up a "savings account" which can have a simple interest on the amount we have in savings as long as we keep the money in the bank for a set amount of times (1-6 months -- This is a game so not too absurdly long)

The double chest thing is pointless, it's basically /chest but harder to access.

The reason for the chests is so that if your account is wiped, you can save your things. /chest will be wiped. This won't. Otherwise, I'd completely agree.

The chest thing would be cool for citizens and I know I would use the bank to store more important things. Citizens don't have /chest, but the bank would be useful for them. Traveling to the bank for some equipment every time will still be tedious and /chest will still be used more by the donors if they don't want to head back to spawn for a couple of items.

 

-1 For the chests, as donators already have /chest, and all players have 27 slots in your enderchest.

However, I think that it would be cool to be able to deposit meebles into the bank, and maybe even have cd's where you deposit your money, gain interest, but then not be able to access your money until the cd period has ended(which is determined when you start a cd).

You guys know the bank with the chests don't have to be a donor perk right? (I guess he did say that it would get bigger based on your donation rank)

 

I think it would be better if you could put your account into some sort of "vacation mode" where your stuff would not be wiped for 4-6 months and it would notify your town mayor that you are on vacation so they don't kick you.

 

See I am making something like this in my town with just redstone.

because they do not want Inactive people in there town they rather have Active people instead of inactive. Like me I Charge 50 meeples per plot you own, 250 per shop you own and 500 for a Embassy I do not charge town taxes. With me Ill kick you with in a week unless you put a sign on you plot to tell me how long you are going to be gone. If you are in the town for a week with out a plot you will get a 4 day notice about it and then you will be kicked

 

its to clear up plots so you dont have to buy new ones then upkeep go's higher and yeah its ez money also

+1 that idea sounds fabulous sir or ma'am. It would cause some more banning due to people might try to hack it but, all in all I good idea in my opinion
