I actually was just thinking about suggesting this a few days ago, but decided against it. For starters this would cause a huge debate about whether each issue actually is a bug and how much the prize should be for reporting it(some bugs are bigger than others). Additionally, I think that this would lead to a huge number of spam threads, about bugs that had already been reported. Furthermore, I am sure that the staff already knows about many of the current bugs, but has not yet fixed them as they are low on the list of priorities. This would mean that the staff would have to create and update a new page of all the current bugs, which is not a really good idea as some of the bugs could be discovered and exploited, when otherwise they would have not been.

Yeah, no.
The current system is fine.
You abuse a glitch without reporting it, you get banned.
If bugs are there, the admins fix it when they find it and make life all comfy for you.

Why would this be helpful? I can't see anything that benefits the server from this suggestion.

 

I'm not really sure why you feel the need to get an award for being a helpful and thoughtful minecraft player. I feel as though this would be difficult to moderate who was the first to report. Not to mention, where would the money come from? Would we have to spawn it in? Because only admins can do that and they don't have enough time nor do we spawn money in out of nowhere. We appreciate the suggestion but this is denied.
