When no players are near, it says:
There are no players near you!
If players don't know how to shout, they might get really confused by this.
I was thinking it could say:
There are no players near you! Try using /shout (message) instead.

I think that a lot of new players will try and say something, and get the message, and be confused because they see everyone in global talking, but they can't

I hate it when it says: "There are no players near you!" I just wish we could get rid of that ;-;

If a new player gets a message that tells then to use /g, we'll end up with a bunch of messages in global that were meant to be private.

 

There are no players near you! Try /g (message) to globally broadcast your message to the whole server or do /pm (player) (message) to send a private message to a player!

 

Maybe replace /g with /w? So it will be ''There are no players near you! Try using /w (message) instead.''

But anyways +1, a simple but yet very usefull suggestion.

 

It could use some tweaks, I just put down the basic bit.
All good ideas.
