What is the stock market? Unofficial guide

Hello all! As you may have heard, the stock market is out, but what is it? The stock market is the base of all stocks. Stocks are little parts of a buisness. Owning a share (1 stock) means owning a part of that corporation. Now, that part of the corporation can go up or down depending on the sales of that corporation. Think of it this way, a company has 1 million in profit and every share of it is worth 0.001% of that corporation. 0.001% of 1 million would be $10 per share. If you were to buy real stocks, this money would be going to a bank (Depending on where you live) which has paid the corporation money to own part of the buisness.

The stock market can make you money, one time my mother bought a very cheap stock. She left it sitting there for years... Three years later, the stock price went up sooo much she immediately sold them and gained like $40,000 USD.

 

Yup, penny stocks are your friend. Sadly there is none in meep. (Example:RCHA) These can really gain you profit, especially if the reason they're cheap is because they have a lot of their stocks but they are really doing well.

Do you research about what you are investing in or do you throw your money in like it's monopoly? Investing in stocks can be a job and if you enjoy it. But when you are a child under 13 or so, you really aren't ready for stocks because you probably ain't going to research and it will end up as a game of luck

 

I did resresearch it and the first 2 months I made min. 300 dollers.
