Buying amount for VShop

Ok, I went to buy a stone pressure plate. First I did /buy, to ensure there was no way to limit the price. It came up with this, showing me there was no way to limit the price.
So I bought 1. It cost me 50K.
Seriously? Please allow me to do /buy 1 stonepressureplate 15.
The 15 on the end indicates a MAXIMUM price I am willing to pay.

actually, if you would read the command in /shop, you woulld see that is exactly how the shop works. the syntax for buying is /buy <amount> <item> <maxprice>. and im actually quite done with people complaining about this. the commands give you the ability to look at an items price before u buy, but somehow its not the buyer fault for being lazy and deciding to type in that command with looking, its the sellers fault for putting such a high price.

 

Epick8, I am very sorry that I have caused stress to you.
As it clearly says above, I did my research by doing /buy to check the full usage of the command.
It displayed nothing about a maximum price.

 

it does in /shop. Though I understand why you would think not. I'm actually going to bring this to an admin as soon as I see one because putting it in the info for /buy (which ur correct, doesnt give the maxprice varible) is going to take 4 seconds and hopefully would cutdown on some of the confusion. They re opened it Alex and this has happened to me when I bought 4 stone brick for 30k I was so mad and this was when I was a noob and had like 40k total lol

 

There isn't a limit, but there is a punishment for putting an item for a very high price as a joke. There's a seller's and buyer's tax, which is 3%. You can also find how much the item you want is being sold for by doing /find (item name).

 

Completed, if you do /buy it now mentions a maxprice.
