vshop Item limit

I'm unsure where this post belongs, so "Suggestions" seems apropos. The current vshop item limit is 10,000 items (of any type). That seems like a lot - until you start adding things to the shop. At one point I had 500,000+ stone bricks on a previous iteration of the shop, which is excessive. Surely we can find a point somewhere in between (I'm thinking 100,000 item limit)?

 

The limit starts to make sense when you remember why vshop was taken down in the first place. People like Hornemans would sell loads of a single product on vshop and just slightly lower his prices. Because of this nobody else would be able to sell their products fast (at least this is what I think happened, its been a while so I don't remember perfectly)

 

When you put a large amount of items on shop, you would have to face the sellers tax anyway, plus, with the new vshop, if you wanted to place a huge quantity of items and then pay the tax, if someone undercuts you, you wouldn't be able to sell any items. This is, unless you wanted to pay the fine again just to undercut someone. It would be more worthwhile for the person with tons of items to buy their items. That creates money for the undercutter.

Personally I wouldn't bump it up to 50k items.
I would raise it maybe 5k or a max of 10k. +1

 

I like the 10k limit, it prevents, and promotes a few things.

Nobody to control the market with sheer items

Allows nobody to use the MeepShop as a virtual chest

Additionally, this allows people to specialize in a role, No person is going to be selling every item under the son, so it requires some planning on what one is going to sell. Plus, the item limit still brings viability to chest-shops.
