Remove the Never hunger thing.

So about a day ago I think Fuzzlr added a perk so /feed wouldnt be needed anymore. quite usefull but there is 1 problem. if your hunger bar wasnt full before it changed you have no way of adding to it anymore. it could leave some players to near starving point. its also annoying for those who have OCD. example:
Might just be me but that 0.5 missing in my food bar is annoying the hell out of me... and eating normal food doesnt help. also the perk just removes more of the survival aspect. I would rather see it removed or toggle-able.

We are fixing the bugs on this, but we have no plans on removing it at this time. -- I would argue with /feed, there was no survival aspect from the beginning.

 

I still sometimes make pumpkin pie or other food items to make it as normal as possible. I only use /feed for when my inv is full or if im being lazy.

 

I completely understand, but our intent is to remove the amount of commands, as this helps with performance. However, with this system, you are still able to eat food, if you wish.

Do you actually have Obsessive-compulsive disorder? If not, I would take care in using that phrase, as it could be seen as trivializing an issue people have to deal with on a personal basis. Otherwise, while I can see the perceived annoyance, I strongly feel this is something that one will essentially ignore after they become used to it.

its not a command its just there from now on.

it is diagnosed on me but its not that strong.

 

I can completely understand how it is bothersome then, and I do apologize for that irritant, but overall I think this will be a better system, and we can't fill that bar currently without disabling eating period, which is something we do not want to do.

 

I can see that but would it still be possible to make it a toggle? I know im not the only one out there that likes to eat to keep it as vanilla as possible.

 

The issue with toggle is we're putting in the very thing we're trying to remove. Perhaps give this a try for awhile, and see how it goes?

I'm getting carpal tunnel from clicking so many times to plant carrots and potatoes. I'd rather not be able to eat than have such difficulty planting seeds.

 

I haven't experianced this, but it seems that this has no relation to the classic MeepCraft. It seems too OP this never hunger thing.

See having no hunger takes no more out of the survival aspect than having /feed. If you want to waste food eat a steak every minute when doing something. I would agree that if someone who had no /feed before this was implemented disliked how the survival aspect was removed but no hunger is only for those who previously had /feed. Honestly if you wanted a survival aspect you would run to every town and if you didn't have food you would starve to death. I don't believe any premium+ member would ever willingly starve to death for the sake of keeping it vanilla.

 

Yes, but it will get boring when we just dont do anything. Meepcraft is mainly about making decisions when and where to do stuff, right? When to /feed at the right time is pretty much that.

 

I like it except for the .5 missing hunger. It annoys me so much xD
