Introduction: Hello! My name is Roland / Historicmush. I am 14 years old and I enjoy playing sports a lot. I play basketball and soccer, but I enjoy playing basketball more. I live with my mom and my step-dad and my dad is in Arizona. My parents are christian and raised me up as a christian.

Why should you be Helper? I feel I have a lot of good qualities and some good enough for Helper. I enjoy helping people a lot and I feel that it would be a good experience for me to be a staff on a big server. I have noticed that the staff have been overwhelmed with the amount of modreqs there are. I would love to help the staff with modreqs, but I am not allowed to. I have helped with the modreqs inside my town, and usually the modreq was resolved.

What are your weaknesses? I think my main weakness is shyness. I feel self-conscious talking to any stranger, but my parents have been working with me on that. My coach has said that I have been bursting out of my shell lately, but I honestly don't think so.

Another on of my weaknesses is self-esteem. Every time I see someone better than me, I feel like quitting. If my parents make me go somewhere where there is a high amount of competition, I will not want to go.

Another one of my weaknesses is my forums activity. I have been trying to post on the forums as much as possible, but I just recently re-joined meep. I will give the story below.

I am struggling with immaturity a lot, and I can be childish sometimes. I can be mature whenever needed, but I am immature.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I have been an owner of 3 servers, and an Admin on another server that shut down.

When I first joined meep, I enjoyed the friendliness of the community and staff. Meep was one of the first servers I joined, and I have played it for a long time. I got my brother to play with me back then, and we made a town named Bobville. I usually came on for about 5 hours a day back then, and loved being the co-mayor of my town. When meep became MeepNetworks, I quit. There were 2 reasons. First reason is that my brother quit about 1 week before and my town fell. The second reason is that I thought there was a lot of scamming/duping going on around the server, and I couldn't do anything. I would like to change that.

Oh... @XChaosZeroX I did not know that. Is there any way I can get a refund? Or do I just not use it.

 

• Teamspeak - hmm I think I've seen you on once or twice, but I've never seen you talk.
• Forums - Okay, you joined just over a month ago which in my personal opinion is not long enough. In that time you have 57 messages, which is ok, but the strange thing is I have not noticed you on the forums. Like, at all. That tells me that whatever some of the things you've been posting were, they were neither bad or good. If you want to be a staff member, you need good, strong, helpful and creative posts.
• In-game - okay, from the things you say and how you act, immaturity is definitely a problem here. I see it, and I'm sure other people see it too. Now, for some reason that wasn't in your weaknesses section, which leads me to ask myself if you know that you are immature but chose not to write it, or if you truly do not know that you are immature. If the latter is the case, it is a huge negative. To solve a problem you must first find out it is there, and then you must admit it is there. And it doesn't happen in a few minutes of "okay I have a problem I admit it I'll try my best to fix it kthxbai". If you are truly dedicated and truly want to give back to the server it will take at least some weeks, but probably a month or two.
• The application - way below average. Again, if you're truly dedicated to becoming a staff member and this application is denied you need to put a lore more effort into a far more detailed and interesting application. Getting a friend or two to proof-read it to give you ideas on what to change and point out your grammar mistakes is a great idea and is something I would strongly encourage.

Overall advice:

Yes, one of your weaknesses is shyness, but try your best to talk on teamspeak. I started off shy on teamspeak too, now I spend my mornings talking to all my Meepcraft friends on Teamspeak!
You need to be more active on the forums and post more constructive stuff. Be helpful, be friendly.
Realise that you are immature (I do not mean for this to sound harsh, and also please understand that you are not the irritating-5-year-old type of immature, you're the friendly type of immature who's maybe a tad on the annoying side sometimes and a little, well yeah, immature) and fix it.
Please write a better application next time.

Ok thanks. I totally forgot about my immaturity.. And yes. IT'S A BIG ONE. I need to work on my maturity. I know I am very immature, but I can be mature when it comes down to it.

Based on the times I talked to you, you seem like an honest guy and I think there's potential there. I jus don't think now is the best time for it. I suggest really working on your major issues, ask plenty of questions, and keep at it for a good few months, then apply again.
