The town of Paris, City of lights

Hello everyone,

Hope all of you are doing good, I just wanted to share a thread about my town in alpha.

What's my town's name?
The town is named Paris, after the capital of France.

Why the name "Paris"?
First reason and it's so obvious a French guy must give something French to the server, which was Paris in this case. Second reason behind choosing Paris, is the fact that it's one of the most romantic city in the world, and as long as it meets my thoughts which are spreading love on the server: then Paris is the right town for this. Last and not least, Paris is also known as the city of lights; In real life the name comes from the fact that Paris was the first big city to light up the streets at night with gas lamps. in game I mean by city of lights the fact that Paris, as I hope, will lighten new & non-ranked players sejour in game, since it's a full stay for free town: You get everything for free and you have no taxes to pay, so non-ranked players can enjoy the server without worrying about taxes and being kicked or losing their storage. Also we have a pretty nice town staff team which main objective is to help and assist everyone in need, so if you need help or assistance just make a sign and we'll be there for you, starting by me!

What do we have in Paris?
We can not imagine Paris without the Eiffel Tower, that was my first priority when creating the town, so I started from here and today the Eiffel Tower is -thanks to my friends material and moral support- is completely done, and waiting for you to visit it whenever you can (/pwarp paris >> get to town's spawn then go upstairs).
Also the Eiffel Tower isn't the only thing I've been working on in town, we have 2 main roads ready to be expanded as more resident join the town, we have an xp grinder and I'm actually working on making an direct & easy access to it. We have one of the biggest & best farms in whole towny so people can easily use it for a daily income, we have a modern villager trading center in progress, and more projects are coming... Just make sure whenever you need something new in town to message me or mail me in game or in forums and I'll do the best to be at your expectations.

Conditions to join the town:
- Paris is a town made only for non-ranked players, so if you're a simple citizen willing to join a town, be welcomed.
- Not having taxes doesn't mean we don't have rules, our rules are strict and easy to follow (Sharing respect, No grief or theft is allowed in town, you don't toggle pvp on your plot, and you only claim 1plot or 1house, if you need more contact me and we'll discuss it).

If the town has no income, how do we keep it up?
At the moment we don't have any incomes, and we're using personal funds, so I was thinking about having a donation-mode for those who likes the idea and wants to help the town grow up and get more new players in it, maybe I can claim some plots and put them as embassies and each embassy will be like a donation income for the town; Or you can simply contact me for any kind of donations (material, helping with builds, helping with assisting new players, anything can help.. Feel free to contact me whenever you want)

Also I'd like to express my gratitude to @PhoenixAngel80 and @Bolthur, the tower wouldn't be there if they haven't provided help and support with material. I'm really thankful guys I wouldn't have been able to do it alone.

 

I built an Eiffel Tower too for the 2013 Christmas contest
Good luck on the town, I remember seeing it.
But, next to the tower it looked like there were a large amount of fallen buildings.

I love this town, but I cant join cause I already am locked into another town. Good luck, I'll come and join if my current alpha town falls to ruin

 

I meant it as the buildings next to it were mostly unclaimed and part of towny wild for some reason when I checked.

Hey Frenchie, Señor_Miku_Chan here. Ive been wondering if I could help with the town to? Im good at building, and I absolutely love France. Im In Paris currently, and I can see the Eiffel tower out my window. We've met before in game. Nice replica of the Eiffel tower!

Unfortunately, this town fell a while ago.. I can teleport you to the ruins of it if you want tho to see the Eiffel Tower..
