Architect Application from Chickenator

I'm not really blown away with the builds..They look basic, and look like I could've done them. -1 Good luck

 

Is your FOV on normal or Quake pro?

1st screenshot:
There isn't detail, nor does it look like it would catch my eye in a town. Looks like your average build.

Seriously, It's just ice and stone. I really don't have much to say about this... There isn't anything much to say about this at all.

Well, better than the 3rd screenshot but just by a hair. 3/ 10

Another modern house that I've seen 6 / 10 again.

I wish you got a better screenshot of this, but I got to say this is the best build out of all of them. Needs more than netherbrick (or whatever that block is) It's just all red though.

You need way more variety in builds like what the other players have said. This is just basic stuff that anyone can simply do. You will need to build bigger builds than just houses. I find none of these very "unique."

 

-1, try using more variety with your blocks and have something out of the ordinary. All of your builds seem too common for my liking.

Like a good programmer always does, you want something like eye candy to catch the passerbys view- and to be honest- none of those builds are truly captivating.

 

Hey Chickenator, I like your builds but I do not think they are Architect worthy yet. Nothing so far has made me go "wow", and that's what you need to become one. Anyway, you are on the right track so keep building and improving!

Just because your builds look okay-ish with a custom texture pack and retouched photos doesn't mean u are a good builder. Your'e buildings don't look nearly as good when you see them in-game. And what sort of fly-hacks did you use to get those aerial views? As far as I know, you are not an Ult.

 

It's called creative mode xD.

 

But those builds are in your town, not creative.

 

The builds were I am flying are in creative.

You have a very defined style but I do believe there are areas to improve on. First, it don't much of the inside of the builds so I have no idea about how good you are with detail. Second, on your creative plot there isn't much definition to the building or the landscape. I know the plots are small but that is actually something I'm looking to fix. Finally, I would just like to put a reminder to anyone applying for architect, creativity is a huge selling point, meaning you don't have to build houses to become architect.
