Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." (NIV)

I think you just lost your own argument... those are not Jesus' words.

In fact... Christians aren't even bound to the Old Testament. (At least not all of it)

Lol, Leviticus was written ~600 to ~300 years before Jesus was even born. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the New Testament give account to Jesus' words and actions.

The 51st would be Puerto Rico, but the US congress (mainly a bunch of very racist, old, white rich guys that vote on whether or not bills get passed when they are created by the president) has its head so far up it's *aheghhemm* that they can see what the inside of their neck looks like, that they would never never allow the *gasp* brown people (who would vote against them, and republicans because they say a LOT of racist things, as opposed to the democrats) (also note I'm hispanic so I sort of can get away with typing that) to have any say in an election for the US, much less become a state.

Tldr: There would be 51 states but racist old white dudes are racist and would die before they allowed an island full of people of color to become a state, that would vote heavily against their really racist party.

Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the united states, the same way Australia is related to England. According to my understanding. please correct me if I'm wrong

Re-editing. Pretty sure it's different. Puerto Rico is a territory and is tightly bound to US laws and politics. I almost consider it unfair that they can't vote. The recent US Supreme Court ruling does apply to Puerto Rico, but I don't think UK politics would affect Australia in the same way.

The only thing anyone in the UK can change over here is the Queen can fire the Prime Minister. That's it.
Puerto Rico can't vote about US politics? That sounds like a load of bs.
    I think I get it.

The governor of Puerto Rico is now saying that he'll pass a bill to allow LGBT couples to marry.

Also it's basically like a new organ that the US got via transplant, it's technically theirs and it follows the rules of the body (the US) but is still not technically a state. It's really stupid.

Soo.. Seeing gay people does not make you feel weird or grossed out? I'm pretty sure 95% of parents would cover their children's eyes if they saw a gay/lesbian couple kissing in public.. What do you think?

When you grow up, you should start a liberal news network and be the liberal Rush Limbaugh because you and him put in a similar amount of thought, research, and articulation into your arguments.

for some reason I don't really support the fact that it's legalized eveywhere

like, I don't think everybody is ready for this

tbh since it is legal America is going to see a lot more gay people together

r.i.p the concept of having a mother and a father

I mean, I don't like saying I'm bi anymore, (because my thoughts change every other second tbh ) but I can see from a homophobic's pov and a homosexual's pov
