Introduction: Hello everyone! My name is Luuk. In school I enjoy designing the most. And in minecraft I enjoy building the most out of all things to do. I've build 2 beta city's on meepcraft. I sold the first one, which I believe is now fallen. But the second town is still in my possesion. It's called meeptown and is filled with beautiful houses, skyscrapers and a huge town hall. I designed all these building myself, except for the prebuilt home made from sandstone, which is designed by my favourite youtube Keralis.

Why should you be Architect? I'd love to be an architect in order to help improve the server's allready beautiful maps and create new amazing maps. I believe I got what it takes to be an architect, in terms of skills but also in terms of will power. I love building in minecraft and to help my favourite server out by doing what I love is a dream come true.

What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? My beta town has a lot of buildings I designed myself, only the sandstone prebuilt home isn't my design. To get there go to beta and then type /t spawn meeptown.

I've also build a nice house on my creative plot, which's coordinates are X: -4350 Z: 3100

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I've build a lot of other buildings than the ones listed here, but most of these have been lost. (Example my first town on meepctraft which has fallen.

+/- Those buildings are pretty good, but i think an architect needs bigger ones, more detailed ones. Good luck!

 

This. Your building looks great, but simple. The simplicity looks good for this build, but Meepcraft normally looks for builds that are intricate and complex, almost to the point of being cluttered, but not quite. Also, it's sorta small.

Won't do a + or -1 until I look at buildings in game.

 

Btw, I use FlowsHD resource pack. Most of my builds look okay in normal minecraft, but there are some things that are only good looking in FlowsHD.

Sorry dude, but i don't really find you builds very.. good. They seem just really basic. Also, if u look at the style of all meep builds, there isn't really anything modern like youve done in those pics, so I just don't think you'll be able to do the job.

 

I am sorry I am a -1 your builds lack detail but my opinion should not really count I think all modern is not very good

 

It takes more than one plain building to become an Architect. Staff are looking for something unique something imaginative, not a boring looking building.

-1 as I said on guggybugs thread, I said I like to see creative builds more than structured builds. However, I think before you even go to creativeness, you should get the basic fundamentals down first. You already have in a few of those, but I want to see more. More vibrant, vivacious builds. Yes, out of the ordinary, but something that you can handle doing too. I don't want you to think of some gigantic huge build, but small creative to work your way up into being able to use your ideas in multiple ways. So work on fundamentals first, and shows us where your ideas and imagination takes you.

 

-1 Most people say that build is good but i think that build is alright [most noobs can build that] Im not trying to be hater or mean to you but that build is way to simple and I don't think that the staff team wants to see the modern looking builds. probably more like medieval /rustic / western looking builds. The only real issues I see are details and depth. The size and organization is great however the walls dont have much detail and are very flat.

 

Firstly THANKYOU SOOOO MUCH! For not doing the standered boring medieval build everyone does. It really is a breath of fresh air to me.
I really like the fact you have gone a different direction because it shows you have the potential to be different.
But that is where it ends I'm afraid.
Potential is there keep going and 'build' on.

FYI Not saying medieval builds aren't good I'm just thankful for something different.

 

Hey there, Chickenator. Just another quick thing to consider is that not all 300+ people who log onto MeepCraft a day will have your texture/resource pack. I recommend using maybe even the default pack when building to make sure it looks good/decent to most everybody. As for the buildings themselves, I agree with all the above. More depth and detail next time. Regardless, good-luck and thanks for trying anyways, you've got nothing to loose!
