The Economy Update

We have been working very hard on new features for the server. Here's some information about our most recent updates:

Stock Market (/warp bank)
The stock market is a place where players can buy or sell real stock in the form of Stock Notes. Each Stock Note is equivalent to one share of a real life stock. Players can buy or sell these notes for Meebles. The prices of each stock on MeepCraft are directly equivalent to their US Dollar value in real life.

To buy or sell a stock you will need its ticker symbol. The ticker symbol is an abbreviation that is used to identify a stock. For example, the ticker symbol for Apple Incorporated is AAPL. Click on the teller and select Browse Stocks to view some examples of stocks that you can buy. You can get the ticker symbol for any corporation by searching online. Searching Yahoo or Google finance for stock data is recommended for serious investors.

Shop (/warp shop)
The MeepShop is a new way for players to be connected to the best offers for buying or selling items. It is what Adam Smith (the author of the Wealth of Nations) would consider to be the ultimate Minecraft trading system. There are a couple of features we've included in the MeepShop to increase it's overall efficiency.

Bank (/warp bank)
For thousands of years humans have been using gold as a measure of wealth and luxury. Now MeepCrafters can too. Right click on the Teller at the bank to open a GUI that will allow for fast trading of gold ingots, valued at 100 Meebles each.

Lottery (/warp bank)
We designed our new lottery system with one goal in mind: to find an equilibrium between the inflow and outflow of Meebles. The new lottery system uses specially designed equations to ensure that this goal is met, all while keeping a base pot of 75,000 Meebles. When you purchase a lottery ticket, you will receive a physical ticket. You can redeem this ticket by clicking on it.

Infected
Spawn in as a mother zombie and slaughter all remaining humans, or spawn in as a human and defend yourself against an advancing horde of zombies. Infected is the first minigame on MeepCraft with it's own economy. While playing Infected, you will earn coins that can be used to purchase upgrades and kits within the game.

Other updates:

• Players can no longer type /back to respawn in the Airship map
• Combat log no longer marks player as logged if they die
• New spawn navigation GUI
• KitPVP revisions
• New plugin deployment system allows for increased consistency of software and features between servers
