Gold Like Stocks!

In old Meep, we had gold like stocks. It was pretty darn cool! What if we had that again, but smarter?

Can you explain how this works for those who were not there when this feature was present?

 

Do you know how stocks work? It worked like that. There was an interface at the bank and you could buy or sell gold. The price fluctuated based on buying or selling, just like stocks.

 

Didn't someone destroy the gold stock market and made the bank crash?

+1. Overall, it will improve the intelligence of the average meeper so they will have a better education on how the economy fluctuates.

 

+1 It should be easily monitored though because I remember when gold went from $100 to like $400 in an hour. Sine then, the bank hasn't been open, up until now, when lottery was put in.

 

The bank in total was removed because smorning would buy the massively cheap gold and make gapples then sell them. If a bank is to be introduced (to act as a stock market) then it will need to be an item either extremely hard to get it impossible, because if it's simple to get it loses value too fast

Actually smorning only did so with The MeepShop Plugin and since said plugin no longer exists I think this would be great!

 

Would it work like if I spent 10mill on gold the price would go up then sold it all back i would make lots of money?

+1 nothing like that not so old system being put back so people can make easy money off manipulating the system to do what they want.

Also believe it or not this current bank system was here long before the stock system was added. Back in the day before CG came and killed the server the price of gold was 100 period. So while this system you want is old, the current system we have is older and worked.

 

That's pretty much what would happen.

With supply and demand him buying a bunch bringing it into existence would increase supply and decrease demand lowering the price.

 

Yeah one way or the other. I'm not fully sure, I am just sure it happened one way.
