Towny War

Alright, everyone listen. We all know that many people do and do not want Towny War to be implemented. I'm going to start off saying that yes, I do want it to be added as a feature. This is because we have 2 towny worlds, and they have the exact same features besides the name. I feel like Beta should have towny wars because there is no point to have another world supporting towns (and to reduce lag is not a reasonable excuse). Now, I know how towny wars destroy precious builds citizens worked hard on, and that would upset many people. But guys, people want this. People are asking for Factions and Towny Wars for a reason, they like destruction & PvP. I know this isn't a Pvp or a Factions server and it shouldn't be either. What I'm saying is, if we implement this in Beta and not Alpha, then those that like to take risks can move their stuff to Beta. Those that want to play it safe can move their stuff to Alpha. Btw, I'm pretty sure we can easily simplify the permissions and the conditions to start/end a towny war. The Devs are pretty good at their job

 

Depends if we use virtual servers for each towny world that run on a single high powered hard server, or three low powered hard servers, ect. Bungeecord, plz be less confusing...
(Atleast I think we are using bungeecord...)

Also. K9. Its kinda hard to move entire towns between the two worlds... If we do add this, it should be a fresh new server.

What if we had it set up where town mayors could opt in/out of the war? That way there wouldn't be people crying about the loss of resources...

 

Towny War was an exploding way to attract new meepers. I think that it's a good idea, but if towns had the option to join war, like a toggle, that'd be more controlled, and safer.

All right, let me explain my new and improved versions from your suggestions.
There is a different world for towny war, which is the same map as beta or alpha. War is constantly enabled there, and any town can do /t war (name of town). When joining a war like I said, you would be in a war mode, in which you could not teleport nor enter any town other then your own and the opponents.

 

The day the towny war shook meep was one of the funnest days I've had on minecraft.
Towny War once a month would be extremely cool.

Other than that, towny war was a fun experience for me.

A town can choose wether to participate in towny war or not.

 

Yeah.. I noticed that after I typed it.. I was really tired

 

I honestly don't want a towny war.It may seem fun but people some times loose their towns if they are in the war. I just think towny war is useless to add.
