Losing your home from Parkour

I am very sad and angry right now. I don't have 200k, so I do not yet have a town. So, I set up a private base that I set as my home. Well, I decided to go try out Parkour. After getting to the sign checkpoint/reward/heal area, I clicked the sign that said "set as home", thinking it just meant use /home for only when in the Parkour World to get back to that checkpoint. Well, soon I began to wonder if I had actually just removed my set secret base in the middle of no where. Sure enough, I tested it and my suspicion became true. It is going to be impossible to find. So, if you are not part/own a town and have a base in the wilderness somewhere, DO NOT click on that sign in Parkour. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could possibly get back. I mean, all /warp wild tps are random. I had so much stuff....

I suppose my suggestion is to make the "set as home" sign in Parkour (city to be specific) as just your home for Parkour World if possible.
I know I can't be the only one whose doing this, even though it is not suggested to build a base in the wild.

Perhaps I should have been more cautious....either way, I'm sure someone else will make the same mistake I have made as well at some time.

@Xx_DankHankMemez_xX , please join a town, some don't even cost meebles (taxes and plots are free). It will all in all be for the better. Yes there will be players like you, but we should all enforce that players join towns, they are safer than the wild. (Also if you would've left that fortress alone for too long your items would have been stolen anyway because anyone can spawn there and grief it. It's technically legal in the wild to grief and steal and etc. Be carefuller next time and try your best to enforce the idea of joining a town asap to all new players, and that's all you can do. I would +1 to there being a clearer sign at parkour though I support for everyone to join towns instead of being in wild full time.

Yes, I was aware for that. LoL. I hid my stuff pretty well, lol....but anythings possible. Still being new to the server, I didn't know that it is possible to join a Town for free. Thanks!

A staff member will find it for you. They can tp to the location where you ran the /sethome command in wild.

 

Not necessarily, I think at a point one staff member had a town which had no tax nor any plot cost. Of course if you were to want a shop or embassy maybe it would require some meebles. What I like about small towns though is that their is a smaller amount of people and the owners most likely wouldn't be so busy that they couldn't help you work out a problem with your town. Anyways there are towns out there with to the least cheap tax and plot costs to the point where voting can easily cover all the costs. If you can follow the rule to never buy something you can EASILY (this does not mean a wither head or something that would be harder to get for a new player) find in the wild, then you probably will survive tax . Good Luck I really hope whoever this may apply to can find a reasonably taxed town!!

 

Yeah your right idk what i was thinking. I have a town in beta that only has 150 meeple tax. (50 for just being part of it, 100 for the plot)
it's called town.

 

The animation style seems to be very unique and compelling, I'll give it a go.

 

+1. You guys don't realize how hard this is for citizens (Using your only home for both parkour and your private teleportation). I remember I had the same problem about a year ago.
