(In Accordance to Chaase's thread) Kitpvp - Remove the meebles we recieve from it?

I had a really good argument with Fuzzlr, and he and I decided on one thing -

Instead of removing kitpvp, why not take the meebles we get from it and make it fun? Maybe we could just add competitively fun pvp, instead of making it a primary source of how much meebles we get? This will not effect how much players want to jump into the terrarium at all.

We have many different ways of getting meebles that's much more efficient than getting it from something so ridiculously repetitive.

If we don't have enough ways, why don't we just add more?

Some examples could be:
- A fixed and controlled Vshop
- Gold
- etc.

if people have the guts to pvp, you can earn meebles. That is why the terrarium was added. Kitpvp is a commercial, anyone with no skill can do it, pvp server that gives unworthy people meebles.

I could speak for myself and several other pvpers, this would be a better alternative to removing it.

 

if kitpvp is going to be removed, +3
if not, +1.5 kitpvp is pay2win with meebles
if the meebles are removed, a lot of donators will go onto terrarium, towny creative which is pretty good

-1 If you don't earn money from kitpvp, this servers pvp will be dead. No matter what people arent gonna go to terrarium and people will stop going to kitpvp, cause it would be a waste of time. You barely earn money from kitpvp anyway. Honestly you should earn more meebles I think. Also, kills with a non kit should be more money per kill.

 

+1, I don't go in for the meebles anyway. Will probably help make it more fun for people who don't do it for the meebles with all of the donators in it.

How about this?

- Remove meebles in kitpvp (or just make it iron armor +diamond sword only kits... seriously remove all donor kits and just add this and it will be a LOT BETTER) Donor kits are just overpowered and discourages donating anyways...

- Add more meebles to CTF / Terrarium and add meebles to Halo (Like 2k per win at the very least, slight increase in CTF making it 5k, Terrarium kill streak after 20 should be 2k, [boosting be illegal])

- Make Meep bank 2.0

- Increase ice parkour (It's one of the hardest and gives the lowest amount of meebles? Logic.)

- I believe V-shop was the reason terrarium was alive, I noticed the lack of players when vshop was removed.

- Maybe get a slight bonus for win streaks in HG? (Congrats on winning 3x in a row! Bonus: 500 meebles! Max could be 10 with a bonus of... 1000 - 2000?)

- If all else fails why not remove Terrarium and add God pvp? lolol.
We really need to focus on the mini games though, I believe terrarium is a minigame. (in my eyes it is)

I made 100k in one sitting in kitpvp. Lol no. When there were actually players in kitpvp...

The only reason it's so easy to get money in Kitpvp is because it's so easy to kill the citizens. If we could finally get the citizen kits to be better balanced, then this would no longer be an issue.

Relying on kitpvp isn't a good thing, we are a towny server. There should be more ways we could use to earn meebles.

There should be more ways to get meebles, so we won't rely on a repetitive pvp server that gives donators a huge advantage. Kitpvp is basically pay-to-win.

 

At least it's an alternative to losing kitpvp.

 

Once again, a better solution is to give the citizens more balance kits so that donors can't make money as easily. If we go through with your solution, I'm pretty sure over half of the donors would not be happy.

How about for each kill, you get a credit that can only be used in kitpvp, that results in maybe a temp better kit or maybe a potion or two?

 

I like this waaay better than removing it completely.
If meeble earning is nerfed in Kitpvp, the server may see a decrease in donations. I know of a few people who were only able to get ranks by by Kitpvp. There are some people who do not have the time to play Ctf for money. Especially if they can get a kill streak in Kit and get like, 10k in a few minutes. I'm a -1 for this.
