Guys stop complaining about him. If a new player joined this server and saw him, they would think he is really helpfull. It is not about his past but what he could do for the future, he always helps on global and is a nice player. Why not make him helper?

Mocking ae/n00bslayer said so Misterbacon told you. If you knew n00bslayer was banned, you should of told a staff member to up check and ban him. Instead you keep it a secret? That is actually a pretty big deal. if you couldn't tell a staff member that n00b was mocking than what would happen when your friend did something ban worthy and you just let him do it. Like he griefs someone and you tell the person no one griefed and you cover your friend. That is really bad what you did.

Yes. A true man should when it's something bad. If my friend told me he killed someone and did and I promised I wouldn't tell anyone I would tell someone. It is just not acceptable. A true man would have the guts to tell someone and get his friend help.

 

No, than you wouldn't promise in the first place. Promising something to a friend, or even just anyone random, and then breaking that promise? That is the like the worst thing you can do. The lowest you can step.

The point here is, Gummi promised and I respect that. He promised before he was going for staff. If anyone thinks that he did the wrong thing to not break his promise, you seriously need to think hard about what a promise actually is.

 

Breaking a promise in that case is good. It would help you to learn the point and him so he feels better. It's like the person killing scenario I said above. If I promised not to tell anyone I would tell the cops right away. My friend would need help if he killed someone so I would get him help.

 

It's pointless arguing with you, just stop. If you feel the need to continue start a convo.

 

I know so many people are like "If Gummi gets Helper I'll suicide", or "If Gummi gets Helper I'll quit", but you have my vote, +1. You've improved your maturity, aren't how you used to be, and active. However, I think that you can still be a bit annoyed at people too much, like on Teamspeak. You'll have to grow used to people and how they act, no matter how stupid or annoying they are. There was once a test that lespauls pulled on us helpers, where he got on a Premium alt and trolled us, and kept rushing us to finish the modreq faster. You have to be able to handle those people, although they seem like a 9-year-old raging kid.

I have started to play and know you for a couple of weeks and this is what I think

- I never see you talk on teamspeak
- you can be really rude at times
- You brag at times
- can be immature
I think you can be a good staff member but I think you should work on some stuff, if you have any questions msg me on skype (bam nitro)

Just saying, making a promise you can't keep is not being a true man. So in this case, GummiBirr made a promise and he kept it. The situation wasn't even that bad anyway. It wasn't like this was going to jeopordize his whole life. You can't compare someone keeping a promise about knowing that another person murder a person and not telling anyone. You can't compare the two because they are so much apart that they don't even connect. In all honesty. I think what GummiBirr did was right, he kept a promise that he agreed/forced to do. And telling a staff member wouldn't benefit him in anyway, only just downgrade Mockingbae. It really wasn't a huge deal. He was being a loyal friend, which is what I see as a good staff quality.
Just remember that this is minecraft server, you can't compare real life atrocities to situations in Minecraft, they will never compare correctly.
