-1 I have only seen you on 3 times on the server I am on 3-12 hours a day so that is bad app is weak sorry

This is going to be my first post in Staff Recruitment in a while.

To start, your Introduction wasn't the best, but not really the worst. For one, you put too many "I's" to start off your sentence. It makes it too bland, although that isn't really important. It simply doesn't seem right, saying "I like to swim. I like to run. I like to help."

Next off, another thing that you should never have is an equal length of Introduction and the Why section. That doesn't even factor in the parts that don't fit in the "Why you should be Helper?" section. Just as on a formal essay, you don't say "I believe so and so", you don't say "I think I am so and so". Think of the application as something very formal, or an essay you spent hours on. A good writer never starts off with something so informal or unconfident. Additionally, maturity outside of the game does not matter, it's what you do inside the game. You could work for the government like what Hornemans supposedly says, but if you're like how he is on the forums sometimes, everyone is going to judge you on how you acted on forums. Another thing that doesn't really quite work is: "I don't listen to people hating on me". Sometimes, they aren't hating, but giving suggestions to improve on. If you're completely oblivious to all other opinions on what you can do to get better, then you are not ready for staff. For instance, if a player says "Staff nowadays aren't doing so great due to..." then you shouldn't just ignore them. Overall, your "Why" section needs a great deal of improvement, because of how short and out of place parts of it are. I would suggest expanding your "Why" section along with the "Weaknesses" section.

Furthermore, staff look into your weaknesses just as much as they look into your "Why" section. What I dislike about your "Weaknesses" section is how you turned something bad into something good. It's a weakness for a reason; if you put it there you should not change it into something good. "I don't think maturity is a big problem... My shyness has dissolved over time" both show that either aren't willing to say out front that you are immature and shy, or you don't know what to put in the "Weaknesses" section. Likewise, it also needs to be expanded, including more description on why it's a weakness of yours, and some others that you haven't given thought of yet. Just by reading some of your posts on this thread, I realized that you have a tendency to argue.

These three posts show that you have a tendency to argue. Why? It's not because you aren't supposed to respond to people's posts, but because you are arguing about why they are wrong. They're giving their opinion, not stating it as a fact.
Also, all of those three posts could have been implemented into the main application post. I would suggest to revise and look over your application a few times to see what you could have added in to it. In example, next to the "Location" place, you could have wrote that you are usually on from 5 PM - 7 AM in parentheses (Even though that doesn't make any sense, that would mean you sleep during the day).


Those few paragraphs were just judging your application. You seem very immature in game, and also on Teamspeak. I almost always walk in muted on Teamspeak. Once I decide if I should talk or not, I unmute my microphone. I joined your channel once, it was too loud, so I moved to a different channel. It's just like Bob said.

Although you might be very immature, I have to say that you're active in game and on Teamspeak. Forums activity needs a pretty big amount of work, even as minecraftsongs. Normally staff members should have at least Active Member, and even then not everyone likes staff with just Active Member. Most prefer to have at least Well-Known member along with a decent amount of posts and likes.

Now finally, on the topic of your age, the reason everyone doesn't like how it's put is because if your parents aren't willing to let their children publicly post their age, then that means that their most likely young. I'm fairly sure that most parents would let their children post their age if they're any older teen. For adults, parents wouldn't even be able to control them anymore. Younger age = More likelihood of immaturity and stupid decisions.

I agree with that except for the last one. The first two MAY seem like arguing, but I'm just trying to get people to stop saying "You aren't good for staff you're too young." It gets discouraging, ya know?

You have the activity, personality, and dedication to be staff. The only things I'm concerned about are the fact that you just came back; however that should not be too much of an impediment as you're picking up where you left off.

 

Thanks That helped lift my mood a little. And yes, I did just recently come back, but I am a quick learner, and I already know pretty much everything I missed.

Your not allowed to say your age. I can see why but if you cant say your name for what, safety reason?, then I doubt that a lot of the personal psrt of the app is true. Also, poor app, no skype, lots lf Immaturity and bad activity.

Again with the age thing... how does this affect anything? I am curious as to why people think I am not capable of anything because of my age.

 

You aren't capable because your immature. if your not allowed to say your age then how the heck are you allowed to talk to strangers in your interview, add strangers on skype. Your probably aren't allowes, and then youll end up like me after my first helper experience, having to resign because your not allowed to skype strangers or what not.

 

Not being able to say my age doesn't make me immature.

If you cannot post your age on the internet, even if you are 15 or 16 you shouldn't be staff. Because that shows that you probably have more rules set by your dad that restrict you from things. You don't have skype, but if you get staff you are allowed to? You should have a skype BEFORE you apply. I have only seen you in game once or twice. You show immaturity. For example, 'I believe I can' 'I think I can'. Or the 'I think I am ready'. You should know you are ready, you should also maybe ask people that you know from this server if they think you are ready. Do not take this the wrong way. I'm not saying you cannot do this because of your age, because I don't know what it is. I'm saying that you shouldn't be staff because of you not being able to put your age up on the internet. I understand why you cannot because its the internet, but if you are older than I think you are I think that you should talk with your dad. It seems like he was probably watching over your shoulder when you wrote this. -1.

So in looking over this application we see that you are clearly dedicated to the server but we do see that maturity will be an issue if you are accepted. So before you apply again we would like for you to work on your maturity, and if you have questions about what we want to see in a future application just make a conversation with me on the forums.
