Do we need to world-protect old alpha/beta spawn still?

They're still exempt from /t claim and perms. If we don't use them can we take those out?

 

How about we just wipe the old alpha/beta spawns so no one can get them? :>

 

Personally I think it would make much more sense to just remove them entirely.

 

What about the first person who claims them gets to build a giant iron farm in the spawn chunks. Think what will happen to the eco then. So im at a -1000

 

Cause iron is worth so much...

 

However the spawns aren't used anymore. /warp alpha or /warp beta takes you directly to your town.

 

The protected area is the spawn chunks. What ever is built there is loaded 24/7. If towns are allowed to claim it machines will be built on it and will be working 24/7 crashing the eco in what ever is made. It doest have to be iron it could be sugar or melons.

Too late! Why do you think hornemans had both spawns... he had farms running there 24/7. Also, we can't remove them cause they are still being used! Go run though the portal at /warp towns

 

Actually, not a terrible idea... When you come back from the end you spawn in the old Town spawns, but why don't we just take away those spawns and make you spawn in your town?

 

Parts of those spawns are still used for navigation through those worlds. You're only not able to see that.

They will be removed when they're not being used anymore.
