/ignore

MeepCraft should have the command of /ignore without having to go through the troubles of filing a report on the MeepCraft website. Users will hopefully be able to do /ignore [IGN] and all messages from the chat will not appear. If you are getting spammed with /tpa request then you could just to /ignore [IGN].That will block all /tpa messges /msg /g /l /w. Examples: There is this person who when he/she gets on /tpas me. I do not know how to report a user so I could use /ignore.
Hopefully MeepCraft Staff will be able to add the command /ignore into Minecraft.

+1. This idea is pretty useful and beneficial to the server. If someone is annoying you, this command can easily stop that. I can't think of any cons of this.

There's a reason why we do not have this command.
Players can simply ignore staff members by typing the command in.
There's tons more I can name off, but the list is too long.

 

This has been suggested so many times, but I don't know where they put them. However, I think that this a good idea. As long as you cannot ignore staff, its fine.

On other servers you are not allowed to ignore staff

 

I'd like it to be so you'd see the ignored players chats, but only as a reminder. Like so:
Bob: Hi!
John: *
Noob123: selling blah blah

The * reminds you that they still exist, and so you can unignore them if you wanted to.

This suggestion seems decent, but perhaps making it have a limit like:
1. so /ignore will "reset" every time you log off
2. or it expires every x-hours.

I'm not sure how easy this would be to do at first thoughts it would require a few pieces of information and changes to the plugins that might end up being lots of work. So it might not be feasible to actually do without lots of effort and for that effort i just don't think it would be wroth the benefits.

 

Moving to denied to sort things, as Coelho himself has already made a thread about how he is planning to make this.

In the meantime, if someone continues to /tpa spam you, do /modreq.
