Halo points as their own currency.

I recently suggested that halo award meebles. Which was brutally shot down.

So I had a new idea. What if the points earned in halo were a currency you can spend in the halo world on things applicable to Meepcraft.

Kind of like how at Chuck E Cheese when you win a game you get those tickets to cash in for prizes.

So that it doesnt interfere with the economy. Just make it take a lot of points to buy things.

Like, 50000 points to buy a diamond sword or something.

Its not a heavy thing but just something to take home from Halo.

(edit) Just a side note to staff who are incharge of accepting/denying this. I merely request that you let this one sit a while before making a final decision. Actually get a gauge on the general opinion on this idea from the playerbase.

 

Yes. And make a 'Halo Shop' at spawn like /warp shop, except where you buy stuff with halo points.

I hardly think this would interfere with the Economy. If you price the stuff right it wouldnt be a major impact. It would just give a little meaning to Halo matches. Sure I place wagers on matches for honest meebles. But that only goes so far.

Halo needs to have some connection to the normal meepcraft Eco or it feels useless. This is a good compromise.

 

Then can we switch the leaderboard to kills leaders instead of points? If this is implemented the leaderboard becomes useless(if not changed).

 

I honestly like this Idea. Halo could be just another way to make a living. Though, halo is really easy. Getting kills for me is no problem. That would be an advantage to me, but wouldn't be fair. Great Idea, I think it should be upgraded/edited. A very fun game to play.

 

Unless the leaderboard simply shows total earned points.

Or maybe make the leaderboard a monthly leaderboard or something.

I dont think it would be a direct money.

More of the same way Chuck E Cheese or some place like that gives prizes. When you get enough of them saved up. You get to go spend them.

50000 points for a diamond is hardly a problematic rate.

+1 I think that meebles should be awarded in Halo, but sing that isn't an option I think this is a good idea. It is clever too. Maybe you can buy special things as a donor (just so we get some more people to donate).

 

I just thought of an idea....

What if you could use accumulated points to spend on weapons of higher ranks?

Like you can spend points on "rentals" Of more advanced weaponry. Like the Spartan Laser or things of that manner.

Moving to Under Consideration, I truly think it's work it to consider some way of making Halo being worth something.
