Fix Tools For A Price

Ok so I believe you should be able to fix tools for players that can't. But for a price. You can sell spawners you summoned as supreme that are the type players are able to find and mine if they were ranked high enough. So why not be able to fix tools for people for a certain price? I would ask people if you could when I was VIP and they said you couldn't because it was illegal. I didn't get it because I thought, "If they gave it to me and I fixed it, and gave it back, what would happen?" Well, I'm still not really sure. To test this out I wore my pick down when I got elite, gave it to my brother when he was on, he wore it down more about to the halfway point, I fixed it and gave it to him (to see what it'd do, not illegally) and he said it's health was way more down then he'd wore it down. I'm not sure still though. I may need to test this out more. Not illegally as it's my pick and they're not keeping it. But you can sell spawned that you technically just got for free so why not fix items? In my opinion buying spammers from people who just summon them is like farming. BUUUUT there's not gonna be buyers 24/7. And people would love for their god armor to be fixed at a cheaper price than finding someone who sells them and buying a new set for a whole lot more. Just an idea that would help unranked people and ranked a lot. And I don't think it'd be a problem if people fixed items for free cause no one gives spawners away for free to their friends of whatever. Who would do the same for fixing items?

I always got my tools /fixed by supreme when you couldn't tell the difference that's why they changed it in the first place.

It's ok I understand. I just feel bad for not high ranked players that have to constantly buy god items. Because if they can be fixed u can only fix them once before it won't let you fix it again because the item is to powerful and has so much enchants.

 

That's the main perk of getting elite+

omg *facepalm* fix your equipment using levels and diamonds *sighs*. Not another one of these stupid suggestions...

 

You can't if they are GOD ITEMS. It's not a dumb suggestion. It won't let you fix it on an anvil anymore than 1 time. It's to powerful. Because of all the enchantments.

 

Just re-add the little repair sign at spawn.

 

i think a stupid cost in the range of 25k - 50k would be a fantastic way to remove money from the economy while still providing incentive to donate for /fix
we had it for a little while, i also miss the cheap exp bottes that let you level to 30 for like 5k, didnt have to lag the world with a grinder :/

 

Yup these were both in the Citizen Shop I designed way back before they quit listening to my good ideas I liked throwing the exp bottles at people like a drop party, get me 9x stacks and throw them like crazy!
/fix sign = 30k and 3 diamonds or something like that
/exp bottles = 64 for 6400 or something

 

Why the diamonds? Diamonds are cheap now.

 

Thats what it use to be... and the diamonds where to cancel out the effect of /fix not using any. In my opinion /fix is a cheat and i don't like it, i would rather /fix just "fix" those things that anvils can not like "god" stuff but still use the required diamonds/iron or what ever and exp!

 

Fix is the main attraction for elite. It will take away from that even if it costs money. This is not necessary as fixed items and spawners are basically a form of money for elite+. -1

 

Under consideration for a sign to sell fixing, but not going to alter the /fix donation perk at this time.
