town being deleted??

I bought a town and it took my money but now i cant get to my town and i got a message saying that my town is going to be deleated

 

Did you have any money in the bank? (/t deposit?)

 

This could be the reason.
Maybe the town bank did not have enough money to pay the upkeep.

 

The upkeep takes the cash from the bank. It's mandatory.
PS:

 

Do /t to view the amount in your town and /t deposit (amount) to deposit. You can go to your town by doing /warp alpha, then /t spawn.

 

How do I save my town? I did not know I needed to deposit money into "/t" and I can't get on-line until later tonight.

Questions:
1. How long do I have until my town is deleted, and how much is the upkeep? I may not be able to get back on meepcraft until later!

2. Yesterday, soon after I created the town two guys ran me out, if not for one individual who jumped in to help (don't know who it was, but THANKS buddy!), the two greifers would have killed me and stolen my town build inventory.

3. Is it routine and permissible for individuals to rape and pillage members as soon as they buy a town?

Guessing you're new to towny...

 

Get ingame, and I'll give you 10k to put in your bank and keep it up (seeing as you have 300k xD)
1. What's the name of your town, and is it in Alpha or Beta? I can deposit it in the town bank.
So you have everything you need?
3. Uhm no, unless you run into the wild. So don't run outside the /warp beta area, or /warp alpha, depends on where you are.

I was not aware of the upkeep until now. I have plenty of meebles I just don't know if I can get back on and save the town befor it's deleted. I'll try to get online tonight to make a deposit. I just hope I can do it before the town is removed. Can you tell me how to protect my town from the two lazy idiots that tried to kill me and steel my stuff just after I created my town?

I just started a thread in "Report a Player" Hopefully an admin will pick this up and can help locate the player. The guy who helped was likely killed in my town by the two greifers who attacked me, he told me to escape to spawn just before he jumped in to run block so I could escape. I was nearly defeated when he stopped the attack... The dude is awesome!

 

I found your town, it'll stay up for a day. When can you get on? (btw it's in alpha)

 

If the town was in alpha and called 'bob' it'd be /pay towna-bob $$

Thank you everyone for all the great feedback. My town account is stuffed full of meebles and will be secure for a couple of years, now I can start building!

If anybody want's to share their thoughts on something I should do (special privileges, access, etc...) please let me know and I'll try to get it done.
