Forums Update!

• Staff Applications: Please select the thread shown above to apply for a Helper Position on MeepCraft
• Ban Appeal: Please use the thread shown in Ban Appeal section to use the New Ban Appeal Process
• Report a Player: Please use the thread shown in Report a Player section to report a player using the new process

    This New Application Add-on makes it easier for members of the MeepCraft Community to use sections of the forums with complete ease.
    
    
    This will also allow us to set limits on who can apply for staff, we have not set this part of the add-on up yet. We will be able to make requirements to apply like (2 weeks registered on forums, must have a certain amount of "likes", must have a certain amount of messages posted
    
    I look forward to replies on this thread to see what the Community feels those requirements should be!

 

Must have atleast 30-40 likes. ;3 for staff recruitment

I don't know if it's fixed, but I tried to use the ban appeal one yesterday and it said I needed a valid title, but there was no title option. Is that a bug or am I just really stupid

They should be at least active member to apply for staff.
Also, did you add titles yet / an automatic title? Remove the post a new thread button?

 

I would make the two weeks a full month.

Atleast 50 hours of in-game time (if that is possible to link with the webpage via an IG plugin)

50 messages, half the likes.

If meep leadership puts a requirement to access application format/guidelines to actually apply that will disappoint me and lots of players.

I see you must put a time requirement for being on the forums, but no likes. That would be another reason to say you must be 'popular' to apply for staff.

If anything time on forums/post can have requirements I guess.
It's more about the person thou.

 

You are taking a non-issue and projecting it into an issue. The amount of likes that is being spoken of here is so minimal one should have them within whatever time requirement on the forums there is.

 

Make's sense, than why is there a need for the likes if it's so little. It's pointless and shows stupidity.
Additionally, I was looking into the applications are they private now?

Specification: Rewrite the link to say "Helper to Moderator Application." Newbies may click the Mod button thinking they have an option.

I actually approve of this idea, as it will help people understand if you want a staff position, actually know that there is a format. (aka no n00b apps)

 

Yes it will help but it takes the point away from doing work. I think if someone really wants something they should be able to type it instead of clicking Yes and no then typing a few other things. But if this will make it easier and more helpful then I guess it's good
