Auctions in Alpha and Beta

As some of you may know, in skyblock there is a command that allows you to sell items through the skyblock world/server. ( /auc) I really enjoy this command because it lets me sell items without having to tpa to someone or them tpa to me. This avoids lag after /tpa, confusion of how much the item is, avoids the chest shop, and is easer to advertise or sell items. I think that if /auc was added to towns A and B it would boost the amount of items sold and traded. I think that it could help boost meeps economy and amount of players on the server.
This could be a cool addition to the server in the future!

 

It should at least be cross-server between A and B because I don't want to miss out on a deal in A while in B. But +1.

I think meep should get this but there are methods of duping items with /auction so I'm going to give it +0.5

True. I have never knew that you could do that with /auction. That is a very good point, but on the other hand i'm sure there is a way to either see or find those that do use /auction for duping. And if not I really don't know what to say. lol

 

I say +1 but 1 problem. What if it is a spawner? Only Elite+ could bid. So they would need to make it like that. Other wise +1!

 

Good point Landonator they would also have to do the same for /fix'd items because only Elite+ can use them to.

 

Another problem is that people could be trying to sell 64 dirt while others could be trying to auction gold blocks. How would we avoid this?

 

Ah I see, there should be a command to allow elite+ members to have there own /auction for things like spawners and /fix items

/auction is a one at a time thing that tells everyone, how many items, how much $, and the item name. So two people could not /auction at the same time.

 

There would be a queue of 5 Slots maybe and if those slots are full you would have to wait till the current auction has ended.

They could make it that people under elite can't bid

 

For the spawners and /fixed items? So when someone /auction a spawner or /fixed item everyone under elite can not bid.
That is a good idea but the question is, is that possible?

 

They could label it as 'fixed' or they can't auction if they're fixed

+/-1 I'm all for it if there could be a way to make it not as spammy. I know on other servers that have this, the only thing I see in my chat is auctions, and honestly I've quit playing other servers for that alone.
