Introduction​

Hey guys!​

I've written the same intro for awhile, so I’ll keep this part short and sweet. My Name’s Alexia, but you can call me Alex or monkey. Some things I enjoy doing are drawing, sketching, and painting. Also, I attend a few classes, like horse riding, Pikiti Tirsia Kali (a Filipino martial art) and Scottish dance.​

Meep Experience​

I’ve been playing meepcraft for a year and several months now. The thing that really connected me to Meep at first was towny. I remember the first town I joined, legacy. That was my first little house, back when I had no clue what was what. I lived off of the first 2 levels of parkour and TnTrun.​

As many of you know, I was staff once before. since then, I’ve worked on becoming more helpful IG, on forums, and teamspeak. I’ve tried my best to improve on all of my past issues.​

Why should I be moderator?​

I promised to myself that before I applied I’d stay happy as a helper for a good bit and be sure that I was ready for the promotion. I feel like I’ve achieved that goal. Through my activity in several timezones, I’ve had many a chance to use the skills I both remember from my first go and what I’ve picked up along the way.​

I had very little training as soon as I finished my interview. I learned the new commands very easily on the spot, and practiced it, learning from my mistakes and I try to never to make a mistake twice.​

Weaknesses:​

Immaturity: This is something found in everyone and it’s pretty self-explanatory. However, I do know the right times to be mature or when I can have a bit more fun. I understand more about what’s okay and what’s not and what’s more accepted as a staff member and how a staff member represents the server; However, this is something I’m still working on.​

Distractions: It’s very easy to get distracted from a modreq or helping someone, especially when I’m doing multiple things at once or they stop responding and I get easily sidetracked. This is something that will be improved with time and practice.​

Conclusion:​

I have the confidence and dedication to make this promotion worth it. I know how to do the job and I think I do reasonably well at it. I’m active in the community, on the player side and the staff side, and made sure I know both sides well. I hope you feel like I’m ready for this too. Happy holdidays!​

I see nothing but constructive posts on your behalf. I have nothing much to say (As our timezones don't usually allow us to see each other in-game).
The app didn't look very nice centered, and personally it was a bit short. Even though you've written the intro before, it should still be as long if not longer then your helper app. (Look at Deinen0's mod app)
However, it's a +1 from me

-Your app wasn't great and it wad Way to short. If you were to look at this by eye, your 'Why should i be a mod' section is Way to short, especially considering tis is the main section of your app. Im not really sure how those 5 sentances cover everything that you believe makes you ready for mod.

-I don't think you are ready yet. I feel as though you are rushing beween positions. Maybe just hold back a bit and just get to grips with everything. You will do a better job as Mod if you have spent longer as helper, learning the different aspects of everything and getting really confident with it all.

-.5, Monkey you have done a quality job as helper so far, doing lots of modreqs, and have shown us you're dedicated to the job with your activity and passion. Also, you have some room for improvement, as some of the choices (namely punitive ones) you have made seemed a little to harsh and unreasonable. You are a valuable asset to the staff team, and you have a fair shot at getting mod eventually, but you aren't quite ready now.

Monkey, you're not ready for mod yet.

First of all, the app was... not good. Your why section said nothing about why you should be mod, and most of your helper applications were probably better than this.

Second, you don't have enough knowledge to become a mod. You know the commands pretty good, but you don't know the ban lengths, which is important to becoming mod. You Tempbanned somebody for theft the other day when it was a grief, and then re-Tempbanned them longer than it should be. Also, yesterday, somebody cursed in shout twice, they did it again, and you only gave a 15 minute tempban. I don't want to see a moderator doing that.

Your modreq count is okay, better than some, but could be better. I'd try getting that up just a bit more before applying for mod.

You are really immature in some situations, and I don't want to see you immature in some situations where you need to act like a moderator, and not a helper.

Overall, you are not ready for mod (IMO). You still have a lot of things to work on, and I don't want to see you make the same mistakes you did last time.

Ahhh I knew you'd be a great Helper. I have seen many great things from you!
I've also seen a few mistakes, as expected.
But you of all people should know, this application is way too short. Especially for a Moderator.
It shows you don't proofread or care enough to type an application worthy of a Moderator position.
Since being unbanned, I've seen from you (as well as a few other Helpers) redundant kicking and temping. Sometimes you punish first and think later.
Unfortunately my vote will have to be a -1.
I hope you don't take this personally. You are one great friend and one hell of a Helper. Keep going forward. You'll get the position eventually. I can tell.

I'm afraid I cannot give a reaction yet... but I agree with what some of the posts above me say.

 

I still don't even want you as helper! No way for mod. -50. Look at your helper app for feedback, because other than seeing you make a bigger effort to help, it hasn't changed

Instead of judging your app by it's content, I'm just going to whine about how ugly it looks centered. Additionally, I'm also going to complain about the length of your app even though it should be the quality of your actions, not the quality of your staff app, that determine if you get accepted.
