MY HELPA APP (pt.2)

After reading the first bit of the application (having a ton of () there aren't needed as they created some silly emotes) the first thing I saw was the heading of your first section... EXPIERIENCE... I'm not sure how something like that got by... it didn't happen just once either. Even now, me trying to type it in, it gives me this huge, glaring red underlined underneath the word telling me that I spelled it wrong. Thing is, it's bolded differently than anything else in your application, and now that I've seen it, I can't seem to unsee it.

I honestly couldn't read anymore after that. I recommend that next time you get a friend or family member to proof read your writing for you and give you some ideas where to improve. Barring that, at least use a spell checker.

You might want to take some time and read some of the 'how to apply to become staff' guides in the guides section. There are quite a few and most of them can give some good insights. Can't really say more because I didn't read much of the application.

*edit* Noticed this was your 25th post on the forums. You might want to take some time and get a bit more well known with the community here on the forum as well as on the game. I don't know if forums activity is a huge deal for the staff these days, but I know it used to be a pretty big deal. Used to be that you couldn't even post a thread in the staff applications section without 50 posts/likes.

 

-1 because I don't know who you are, in the position changes you should have put Citizen to Helper, and you have a bad application.

 

I have never seen you online (timezones) and I can't judge you much, but based on your app and how you react to each comment, you do not seem to have the professionalism that staff members should possess. After reading all this, I feel like you are taking all of this as some big joke and I do not feel even a hint of seriousness in your tone. I'm sorry, but it is a -1 from me.

 

I believe I do recall seeing you in shout or in ts. I don't have much information to go on for a decision, although it seems to me this application is not entirely serious.

I found Meepcraft through a minecraft server promotion website, I forgot the name. But I easily felt like I was welcome by the amazing crowd of Meeps! I plan on playing on Meepcraft until the world ends!

This part I found is useless and seems to be a text filler.

I have two mixes so far uploaded, and there is more to come! DJing not only teaches about rhythms and producing techniques, but it also helps me discover video editing software by playing around with the controls to create beautiful serine features that dazzle the eye. Though my youtube channel is not successful, i have plans to create a new one that will be bigger and even more beautiful! I am fascinated by psychology, general science and computer programming. These are my goals for a proper Cejep(collage) expierience!

This entire part is useless IMO. Also, emoticons are not key to a good helper application. Just my 2 cents

EXPIERIENCE

It's never a good start when you spell that wrong!

Over the past 13 months, I desired to be on top of the Meepcraft community. I was willing to reach to the stars for a spot on the Meepcraft team! The Meepcraft team to me was like the Avengers, each person with their own abilities and disabilities all welded together to create the ultimate, most elite, crime fighting group! I had dreams of becoming one of them, and those dreams almost resembled Lucid dreams. I think I would be a great addition to the Meepcraft team, because of my debating skills, and happiness that is very contagious to everyone around me. But look out! It's airborne!

So this tells me your experience...how? You should probably refresh your mind as to what that word means. Also, I'm pretty sure lucid dreams about being staff on a Minecraft server is a little exaggerated.

WORK ETHIC

I am a VERY hardworking person who strives for perfection. I do have ADD which doesn't really help, but i will always fill in a missing gap. As i mentioned above I am very interested in science! I do not have a job, but I am looking for one. My main struggle is math which may not seem surprising to most people. A n important aspect to my focus is that is my mind is focused on something, I can accomplish anything!

Please stop redefining words. That is not what a work ethic is. Just saying that you can do anything as long as your mind is on it means nothing. I don't care that your main struggle is math or that you have ADD.

DEDICATION

As I have said above, I can accomplish anything if my mind is set to it. If something is left uncared for or forgotten, i will react and mend the tear between both sides of a situation. I will stop at nothing, until the problem is at a satisfying end. and the more I accomplish, the more motivated I become! And I want to be given a second chance, to join the team, and make the world a better place!

If you're going to use a word...do it correctly. This application is a train wreck so far, I'm sorry.

INVOLVEMENT

I have been spending a lot of time to Meepcraft! I am very active, supporting and caring! As I have mentioned above, I am very interested in Psychology, which opens many doors for me to help around either online, or offline. As a personal reference, me and my friend often text about our day, sometimes my friend needs a (rant sesh) to help let anger out of her gut, and i love to listen. I also tend to get caught up in other people's situations, but I don't bully, I end the conflict

That is not involvement in MeepCraft.

JUSTIFICATION

I think I am fully prepared to become a staff member, because of my basic knowledge of the community, and how everything runs. I am aware of most commands necessary to be staff. and I am also very aware of the rules and the consequences of snapping the rules.

I think I know how you got the format for this app: Went to Cyber_Punk_'s, copied the text, then pasted it.

WEAKNESSES:

• TS, Though I am highly active on teamspeak, some errors pop up every now and then. either my mic and my speakers get disabled.
• Profanity, I am very sensitive to profanity of any kind! such as: bullying, swearing, verbal violence, spam, and people who put themselves on top of others.

Grammar, My grammar is not the best in the world, but at least it's not like j00mad! sorry j00bud!

So why does your sensitivity to profanity become a weakness? And errors on TeamSpeak are not a weakness. Also, what is up with the sentence at the end? Seriously?

CONCLUSION

I do believe that I have what it takes to become a helper, it will be a wonderful experience and am ready for one heck of a thrill ride. I understand that there are responsibilities, and consequences to my actions. I realize all mistakes I have made in the past, and I would be honoured to be ranked a helper for meepcraft and I also take on all responsibilities!

The use of "Helpa" in the title definitely set a negative first impression. I have never seen you online either, also, you don't seem like you are prepared to take on the responsibility and dedication being a staff member requires. Sorry but I am at a -1.

So what I am understanding is you are mostly in the parkour world? Because last time I checked you're in the announcements mostly if you win money in parkour.

I have never seen you in game, and you're not entirely active on forums.

Application was quite weak, and it does not really say "why" or any of that.

You reply to people's comments on your app a lot, when they are NOT asking a direct question.

Denied. Your in game, teamspeak and forum work could use some work before you apply. Very few people who have commented on your application know who you are and those who do state immaturity as being a big fault. Staff shouldn't be known as immature people, yes everyone has an immature moment but if the defining characteristic in a '-1' vote is maturity, something is wrong. Please work on the feedback that has been given to you and reapply in no less than two weeks.
