I still have mixed feeling about this application. You have the plus sides, and the negatives.

Generally speaking, you do everything a staff member is expected to do, and you probably do a bit extra. Forum activity, in game activity, and TeamSpeak activity is impeccable. From the outside looking in, you seem like a great candidate.

However, I still feel as if your persistent attitude is a little unnecessary. You filled out apps week after week after week, etc. I think if you don't take your staff job too uptight-ly, then you will be fine. If you feel you can develop better patience, you can have my full +1. Good luck!

What I am about to say does not equate me thinking you are a bad person. But you liked a forum post on the forums containing extreme pornographic, anti-religious, and snuff material. Despite me not assuming you are a bad person, this still says a lot about you, and your mentality.

Considering this is a server, and forums where a majority of players are underage, having a person on staff that likes this stuff sets a bad example. Additionally I think it brings unnecessary risk to the server, where staff should be people above and beyond others.

Coupled with your maturity, and past demotion, I simply do not believe you are qualified to hold a staff position here. I especially think the staff should avoid people who like such degrading material such as the example above, and I think the server should avoid at all costs to bring those type of people aboard in a staff capacity.

 

I'm back to a +1 again. I'm glad you waited a while, and it showed - you seem to be enjoying the game more, relaxing a bit, and taking some time to reflect and work on yourself.

You're very active, dedicated, friendly, and helpful - you've personally helped me a couple times when I needed it, and I HAVE seen you "go the extra mile." You have experience and knowledge that will allow you to hit the ground running. You take initiative, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. As Helper you'll have to make sure you're not just blazing your own path, but working as part of a team toward a common goal - not just for staff's sake but for the players, who deserve to be treated fairly. Immaturity is probably also going to be something to watch for a while, though I haven't seen any major issues with that lately.

Beyond that, once again I would just suggest paying close attention to any constructive criticism given by people who were staff at the same time you were. It's important for them to be able to trust, rely on, and work together with you, so don't take that lightly. Good luck!

I will NOT argue with the main point of the post, but I will address the issue of my liking the post.
The link was posted in shout, and I was lazing around and I clicked it, and while I know the like button was pressed, I was trying to click away really fast, because my 7 year old brother almost say the pictures. While I know this sounds like an excuse I will say it, I do NOT like that content and it WAS an accident.

Not to continuously push this issue, but you are aware that the back button is generally on the top left corner of the monitor, while the like button is on the right edge. Additionally to get to the like button, you would have had to scroll down two and a half pages.

 

I know monkey well enough to know she would not like a thing like that. Panicked clicking is understandable, anyway this debate is useless, it's for each one of us to decide wether we believe monkey truly had motives to like a horrible post. Personally I have enough faith in her character to dismiss it as an accident. But of course you will draw your own conclusions and I will draw mine.

Oh, I agree. I was trying to determine, to form my own opinion, how while in the act of quickly backing the page up, you scroll down over a page in length, and click the opposite of the side in a spot that isn't even 1% of the size of the page in itself.

The issue I have with the like, is one of two things, she likes the content, which I seriously doubt. Or she liked the motives behind it, AKA she liked Rusian went out with a blaze of glory, in a sense.

Both of these reasons cast serious doubt in the qualification of the person, and what they are liable to do, and what their attitude is.

 

This is my last post on the subject.
I go back to the home page by scrolling all the way down and clicking the 'home' button on the very bottom of the page. It's a habit.
I didn't even think about the back button.
I apologize for arguing, but I did have to make this point clear.

 

Monkey.. I know we already spoke about this, but I have to point out how far away the 'like' button is from the 'home' button at the bottom...

Hi monkeyhead-

We would like to inform you about a possible interview time. There will be a staff meeting at 8pm EST this Sunday (10.12.2014). There will be interviews 2 hours before that and then interviews following the meeting. We are hoping to get the majority, if not all, the interviews done so you guys aren't sitting in there forever.
