Unnatural, possibly. I know for a fact nobody chooses to be homosexual, but I suppose you also have a right to your own opinion. (There is literally a biological bases for sexual orientation, kinda like left/right handedness).
Just because something is unnatural does not make it a bad thing. :)
Then don't look at it. People can live life their own way, and you can live life your way.

(I apologize if I repeat anyone here, I've only read 3 pages of this thread)

Regarding gay rights, my city alone had a law passed a year ago saying that you may not discriminate against people based on religious rights. Less than a month ago, this law was almost revoked due to certain people being fed up with this, votes were casted and the law stayed by less than 100 votes.

On to the actual part. Say congress passes a vote saying that the whole country will vote to determine the future of being able to discriminate against gays, MANY people would base their vote on religion. But with something like this, could you maybe just step away from religion and think about what this would do to America? Certain areas of the country would have higher unemployed rates, riots. As stupid as it sounds, just think about what it could do to any huge country, not just the US.

Short little rant: When voting for something as important as discrimination, step away from religion, and look at the facts.

I am a christian also but I don't think it is wrong I mean why should you guys care. Here read this story my sister told to me that she found.

So once I was going to subway to get a sub but I got really mad. The person in front of me didn't get the same sub as me. I was furious!

It is just saying that why is everyone getting mad about stuff that isn't about them.

For not wanting public porn? Excuse me for being raised in a religious household.

There's a difference between public affection and that...

I mean making out, like I said, I'm fine with a peck here and there with gay and straight, but against making out for both gays and straights in public. I'm fine with it as long as they don't shove it in my face.

Basically if your republican, you don't believe in gay/lesbian rights, if your democrat you believe in gay/lesbian rights.

I have to kind of agree here.

I don't want gays to hide who they are, but the whole "gay pride" thing can get annoying.
(Pride in this case meaning extreme signs of public affection)

Personally, I see no issues with the right of marriage for two men or two women. Unfortunately, the whole Bible thing comes into play, which it shouldn't. People of the Christian faith study the New Testament, where there is not a single thing written about homosexuality, so what's the fuss about? No matter what, people are people. It's not like homosexuality didn't exist thousands of years ago.

People thousands of years ago were much less tolerant. They stoned homosexuals because of whom they loved. They were, however, just a few hundred years ago, hanging people who they believed to be witches...

Just do whatever you want. What annoys me is the people who are against them and are quite mean about it. Like people who say things along the lines of them dying and rotting in hell. Those angry, ignorant people get on my nerves. They are too ignorant to accept that, say, a guy likes another guy. They immediately go against it. Even funnier, but a lot of those people live in the United States. Coincidence? I think not.

I was born in a religious household. Yet everybody in my family believes in gay rights. (I'm the only atheist in my family)

But you implied that they were gross which leads me to the thought that you are against them.

I am personally grossed out because I would personally never kiss.. Or more... With another guy, but I do have an open enough mind to accept that some people are like this. I feel like they should have the rights to do as they please. This thread is about gay rights, in fact, not thoughts on gayness.
