I just don't know what to say.

To put it politely, I am worried about how you will act if you are accepted. I think you are a fine player and can be an awesome person in general when you want to be, but I really don't think you are cut out for staff. A lot of your actions have proved that, something that I noticed.

The first thing that worries me is that mow that you have gotten over your demotion, you are like you were before promoted at all, which makes me uneasy. To me, it seems like you get worse when you are staff. Someone should get better when they are staff, not worse.

As you yourself said above, you had very little teamwork. You never seemed to understand that teamwork is what makes this group of staff amazing; it wouldn't work without it. Sometimes you need to learn to out aside your own opinion for the better of the group, which can be helped by having a staff friend on the side to discuss it through with, it helps sift throught your own thoughts as well. You didn't seem to have a filter, wither through a friend or in yourself, which is problematic for a staff member.

This leads on to the other thing I have to say, that perhaps hasnt been directly mentioned to you, or perhaps people just don't think it matters all that much. Throughout your time as a staff member, you always seemed to continue to think of yourself as just a community member with a little extra power. And while I do not think ataff members are better than regular players in any way, the fact of the matter is that we have been entrusted information and a certain responsibility to uphold. This again pertains to the fact that you have no filter; you often didnt realize that no,you shouldn't call out a specific staff member in public, or you shouldn't say something in public that goes against a policy.

Regardless, this is far too early to apply. You became ridiculously antistaff after being demoted, going so far as to blame and insult other staff members. I truly beleive that you are not a good staff member, and will not be, until you understand what a staff member really is.

Not to mention that I did mention these to you during your Mod application and not only were you snotty to me about it but you also conpletely disregarded everything I said

(I do like yiu a lot as a person and I think when you aren't being antistaff you are great)

 

I heard your demotion consisted of a 69 comment.
That's not something that really suits me when choosing a helper; but I'll give you a second chance. +.5

+1. While I wish you had waited a little longer to reapply, I think you were a great Helper and would be one again. You're active, hard-working, friendly, and eager to help.

As I said on your Mod application, you have made some missteps, but you seem to be learning from them - and that's all any of us can do! I don't see any truly anti-staff sentiments from you at all, though I may be missing something. You just may need to work on thinking before you speak. Thanks for being honest about your demotion, and I hope you're given another chance.

 

I... I'm not going to rate this, because it would be biased.
I think you're a good person, Monkey, but you need to work on teamwork and fitting in with the other staff members. I'd love to see you in an interview, so good luck!

+1 you deserve helper. i dont think theres enough good helpers out there i like or respect except a couple and i mean that. you deserve it more than anyone

I don't know why you got demoted due to staff being rather non transparent about the issue but regardless you most certainly deserve a second chance. Whatever you possibly could have done im sure you have made up for, gl monkey.

-1. One cannot fix maturity problems in a matter of days. I have no idea how you currently act in-game, and however collected you seem, there is no way you are completely clean. I've seen you boast before, so I question if you want to be a helper for the right reasons. I have first hand experience because that's how I acted when I was staff long ago. It's been over a year, and I certainly know I wasn't magically matured 2 weeks after i was demoted.

Nothing stands out to me about you that makes me want you over the next person.


I honestly don't understand the process of the staff today. It seems to me that standards have been exponentially lowered for this post-MN era.

As a staff member you originally did fairly well on modreqs etc however you got lazy. Modreq count slipped, attitude was very poor, and you were a general annoyance among most the staff. After your demotion (and slightly before) you began making a lot of negative comments about meepcraft and the staff that represent it. While you may disagree with it, an important part of staff is working as a whole not matter how much you dislike another person. This is very important because they represent the server and make collective decisions. Showing the players that we do otherwise shows discord and creates a negative atmosphere that the players see as well as the other staff. I do not believe you will change any time soon.
