I'm positive there would be other ways to contact the player and give the items back. Stealing is a pretty big deal and this is your 3rd offense of stealing in towny.

 

WOW I DROPPED THE HOPPERS IN ON THE GROUND, BUT THE GUY DID NOT PICK EM UP! i already had other painting as i was decorating my new town. I probally forgot to pass them back
