How To Make Meepcraft Have 800 Players Again!

So I've been thinking about how to Meepcraft have 800 players like it did before MeepNetworks. I have thought of a Tutorial of how to make back to it's former glory! Read through this and see if there is anything the public (you) can do to help meep get back!

• New Meepcraft trailer the Meepcraft official YouTube Channel! Like the old one but newer.
• A successful Advertising Campaign! We need a new way to advertise our server. Try getting the server on as many server websites as we can. Add updated description on the websites. A server YouTube team who go make update videos and trailers for the server.
• Focus more on the Towny aspect now and make a Beta Towny server.
• Focus on MeepCraft more Fuzzlr and not go buying new servers. Wait till the server gets back to 800 players Fuzzlr then Buy servers.

This is more for the staff on the server and mainly Fuzzlr. If you guys want to go Advertise the server on YouTube, or even create your own You Tubing team for the server that would be great!

 

This really isn't going to help that much in all honesty.
1.) I do believe fuzzlr has been spending more money than ever on Meep advertising
2.) I don't even know if we had a trailer until late when we had that new spawn. The trailer wont make much of a difference.
3.) I say scrap the Beta, it will just continue to split the community, unless beta is just a new world with no towns in it or ect... fot towny.
4.) By doing this fuzzlr is focusing on Meep, by buying a new server and routing the IP to Meepcraft, the old players will now have somewhere else to go. If they had an average player base of 100, a lot of those players may choose to stay with each other instead of breaking apart and going to a new server. This is something I believe fuzzlr had done multiple times.

 

They Only get 12 players now

 

We could use a new video, but I think it's +/- as far as importance.

We're currently the 2nd server listed on minecraftservers.org - The issue with ad campaigns is that they are VERY expensive. We could use with updated server info on all the various websites, etc. With videos Fuzzlr occasionally has relatively popular youtube broadcasters to highlight some mini-games.

While Towny is the biggest draw of Meepcraft, it's not the biggest draw of Minecraft. Towny itself is a rare plugin, and most servers that have towny have almost a non-existent population. The fact is if we want to grow "big", then certainly we must look outside towny for expansion, because there is limited growth room currently with it.

It's not really our business with what the man does with his money.

I definitely think we should have more of a presence on social media. For example, Facebook - We need daily posts, not monthly/yearly posts. A new YouTube video once in a while would be great. And most importantly, it should all feel connected: Links on the forums to our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, links on Facebook to (most importantly) our forums, Twitter, and YouTube, etc.

Why does Beta have significance in drawing more players? Or any significance at all?

If that is what makes us unique it should be pushed more in my opinion. It is probably the only thing that made me try Minecraft Multiplayer and I suspect a large untapped market might be floating around out there. It's easy to advertise a unique trait as opposed to a saturated mini-game/faction/[insert relevant Minecraft pastime here] feature. Those should be a bonus to the main attraction.

Old meep back 2 years ago had 600 players with spleef, pvp and towny! What do you mean we can't get popular with just economy. Oh also ever heard of Meep back about 1 and a half years ago with the first ever spawn? 700-800 PLAYERS! TOWNY NOW MAY NOT BE BUT MEEP TOWNY IS DEINEN!

We could, as someone said, have more of a presence on social media. Having an advertising program would also help. Also maybe programs to get noobs involved and help them keep perservering... Didn't /universe say there's like 150,000 unique people that have joined Meep at some point or another? Well... Things to get noobs discouraged such as rankism, 5k wiped, and the increasing gap between rich and poor have something to do with it too.
