Your a new member to forums.
I do see you online but I haven't seen you help out much.
You told me (few days ago) that everyone hated me. I wouldn't want a helper that is rude or offended people.

 

Cascade, I was being sarcastic, everyone loves you, but this is serious, you are pretty popular, take a joke.

From the nature of this post, it seems as you are disregarding it completely, as In your opinion, this post doesn't count as a post to be put on your application. I don't want a helper that disregards posts just because it comes from a person you may or may not resent.

 

Umm ok, I am doing everything that these people tell me, besides in game time because I think I play too much.

Firstly: Saying "I don't care what you think" is a big no-no for helper.
Secondly: Saying "I know I am good enough to be a helper" Shows arrogance. (Rant TBC)

 

Yes mrli1, I am arrogant, that is another one of my weaknesses.
I don't care what you think. On a serious matter, I would care if you had something more to say than just, in my opinion your very immature and I never want to see you become helper until you are a bit more matured. I agree, I am immature at sometimes, but I will be serious when the need arises.

This is not attitude fit for staff. You should always consider other people's thoughts, both ingame and off it.
You may disregard everything he and others have to say, that's a personal choice.

I think the rank of Helper is a servant leadership position.
You must be prepared to help those who can't help themselves.

I am very approachable, only if you don't talk trash about me that isn't true on the forums, it can be very innappropriate. I would actually care very much about what you had to say, unless it was something rude you say to me.

 

This post right here breaks it for sure. -1, you are not ready to be staff at all. While it may be the staffs decision to make you a helper, the application process is a test. One that you just failed at. All staff... no matter what, should value the opinions of the players. You also need to be able to take criticism, and again you really can't.

They aren't talking trash about you. They are pointing out troubling things, things that make you unworthy of being staff. YOU made this staff application, you should be expecting bad replies... that's part of it. If you can't handle the feedback, don't apply for moderator.

Phoenix is right. You should not be angry if we -1 you, and give valid reasons. Always expect bad and good replies; to get excepted into the interview, it is based on players opinion of you. In this case, opinion does matter. When you say something like this, "happy now," it makes you seem very annoyed, when mrli1 actually gave a reason. Now let's get to the application.
I've seen you multiple times in game already, but I don't see you helping very much. We have different timezones, so I cannot fully judge your activeness, except for the snippets of times I see you. On forums, you should improve your activity. The only place I see you on in forums is "Staff Recruitment," which is not a good thing. You should try to be more active here, answer questions in the Q&A section, participate in Discussion, and make Suggestions. Those are just a few of the places I think you should post more in. I've never seen you on teamspeak, which could be a problem. Your app was decent, but I believe you could do better. The attitude you have is not a good attitude, and if I were in your position, I would just ignore the person being rude to me.

Your opinion of yourself is also not a very good one. It is good to be confident in yourself, but you don't want to be overconfident. After the double-post, when you say "I know I am good enough to be a helper," some people may assume that you are arrogant. I am sure you have the potential to get the helper position, but not as of now. Also, you should not reply to every post. I suggest you reply to every few posts, and if you have to, look at the "Interview" section in "Staff Recruitment." It is natural for people to think that you are desperate for the position if you reply to every post, but it is not entirely truthful. The decision for you to become helper is not only made by the staff, but also the public. Good Luck, but -1

 

Not actually, we have no say. Bet you didn't know that.
We may influence the Staff's PERSONAL decision by posting relevant things, but it's not determined by how many -1's or +1's there are.

 

^ The only reason people do +1/-1, is to say Yes he should be mod, or No he should not. That's why I hate it when people do +.03435436564565. It doesn't matter if a guy has 50 +1s or not, they can still deny it, and they have.

 

-1 You need to get more active on the forums. I really don't see you much in /shout but that maybe because we are on at two different times? Though I do see potential in you just try to get more active on the big 3 (teamspeak, /shout , and forums!!) Good luck though!

Firstly: I wasn't talking trash about you, I was providing events and attitude measurements that lead me to vote -1.
Second: You say that this application isn't a serious matter; for example, since I applied, I know what people have been telling me to work on; and I take all of their posts seriously. I understand everyone's reasoning for -1ing, +/-0ing, and +1ing my application. I seriously try and work on all of the suggestions and constructive critisism that the community gives me; what I personally have seen from this application is that you don't and won't take some of these statements to heart the next time you apply. Especially mine. So if you are serious about applying for helper, then your upper post does NOT help your case whatsoever.

 

You were only unbanned today were u not? You arent active on the forums or in the game, you are too new, u dont help in shout. Its definitely not that ur not on while staff are on. Im on at many different times during the week, early in the morning or late at night. Its hard not to hear of a staff member and if you are applying for staff then u should already know all the staff members, even if you dont have a personal relationship with all of them

What do you mean too new epick8, I do help in shout sometimes, and I know most of the staff that are on while I play, But thank you cor the criticism, that is stuff I can fix up, no one would ever get this on their first try.
