    We are releasing a major update to the economy on March 19, 2013. The new MeepShop will no longer have player to player transactions. This update was first inspired by a suggestion made by IFartonChilren. We have tediously worked to ensure that a system similar to what was suggested will be functional on MeepCraft.

    True Demand, Instant Transactions
    While the current MeepShop reflects the true demand of items, it is often difficult to sell items on the shop because you have to wait for another player to buy them. Instead of the MeepShop being an agent between two players, each purchase will be a direct transaction with the server. When more items are bought than sold, the price of the item will rise to reflect this change. Alternatively, when more items are sold than bought, the price of the item will lower to reflect this change. You will be able to make instant trades with the new MeepShop.

    Removal of Admin Shops
    Currently, Admin Shops on MeepCraft provide instant transactions for players. However, Admin Shops do not reflect the true demand of items. Players are able to sell or buy huge quantities of items on Admin Shops without changing the price of the item, which allows players to abuse the system in order to generate profit. In order to ensure that true demand is applied to all items, we are removing all Admin Shops.

    Donator Privileges
    By removing Admin Shops, we are depriving donators of much needed privileges. Therefore, we are adding a new feature called Exclusive Items to provide an incentive for donations. Each donator rank will have exclusive access to certain items which are not available for trading by lower ranks.

    Transactional Tax
    In order to provide a medium of Meebles outflow and maintain the size of the current economy, each transaction on the MeepShop will include a 1% Transactional Tax, which will be applied to the total purchase or sale.

    A Very Simple Set of Commands:
    /shop
    /price <item>
    /sell <quantity> <item>
    /buy <quantity> <item>
    /sellhand

    We are very excited to release this new update. We believe it will be helpful towards the creation of an economy that is more friendly towards players both old and new. RSVP to this thread if you are excited to see the new shop in action!

    In order to apply this update we are deleting the current stock of the MeepShop. Please remove all the items you wish to keep by March 15, 2014.

    #Second I saw Ifoc's suggestion I never knew what it was, but I enjoyed it by not having to inflate or diminish the prices of items E.g Diamonds price inflates from an upseller getting bought out. $250 - $350 (+ $1oo / diamond). Or prices diminish $350 - $250 because of upselling the current lowest price (-$100).

    fuzzlr, the removal of the admin shop will make my megafarm town hard to keep alive, please at least give the people who uber farm some way to get some money. :(
    I get that this is to stop people like hornemans from making a monopoly, but this is unfair to people like me who don't want to be uber rich, but still make a living. :(

    VShop works similar to many MMORPG games trade system, you can buy items being sold cheap and then sell it more expensive, as well like create a item and sell it, that's the magic behind trade systems like this one.

    BUT

    I'll give it a chance, who knows it can be cool... :)

    Ok, fuzzlr, I get that this will be good and all, but I have a suggestion, to stop some flash crash or raises in the price of some items, when say some a hole that wants to item bomb buys say 20k rottenflesh wouldn't the price raise by like 20 meebles, cause everyone to sell their rotten flash with in 5 minutes, and then have the price of rotten flesh drop to nothing again?
    Also, there might be a way to exploit this that I would like to talk to you about, via a forum pm.

    Ok, I just thought of another way for a rich meeper (with around 2 million meebles) to actually hurt the economy with this, please start a forum conversation with me, Fuzzlr if you want to know what these things are.

    #1 It represents what the vshop did/does because when people sold lots, like diamonds, the price lowered, and when people bought lots, like cake where there were no big-time sellers, the price got higher.
    #2 this is a public plugin on bukkit I don't understand how it is 'special'
    I can still understand how you can't like it though.

    Yes, because when you buy, it goes up ...

    EDIT: as they sell it it will go down, so this is irrelevant.
