If there was a button that made Eren, Ichigo, Naruto, Luffy, Mikoto, Zoro, Mikasa, Natsu, Edwardo, Ryuunoske and tons of other anime characters come out of his pc and tear him apart limb for limb, I would press it.

 

Saw Misaka and Mikoto in the same list and got super confused. Misaka Mikoto is one hell of a character
I also saw Eren. I'm guessing this is Eren Jaeger, in which case Misaka could also be Mikasa.

I don't exactly see that point of anime... I mean I realize that it is to entertain you, but... Idk... Most of the anime bits that I have seen seem very stupid, but I know you cannot judge a book by it's cover.

I guess its that when I think of anime, I think of the stereotypical pokemon action asian cartoon type of thing.

 

Pokemon pretty much sets a bad example for anime. It's one of those animes directed at little kids. Anime goes much farther than just action and what not. A lot of people seem to judge anime just because it's an animated TV series, but once you see passed that you can really enjoy it because many animes are directed towards an older audience.

 

It's a different form of entertainment, really. Some people like Cartoons, some people like Documentaries, some people like those BS reality shows, and some people like Anime. It depends on the person, really.

Also Pokemon is more of a Cartoon than anything, don't base Anime off of it, for the love of jeebus.

There are so many different kinds of anime, think of movie genres. Action, horror, children, fantasy, etc

 

I referred to Mikasa from shingeki no kyojin and Mikoto ''the red king'' from the K project,
it's funny that there is an anime character that's named Misaka Mikoto though.

 

It's actually "Mikasa" not "Misaka" from Attack on Titan.

 

Very true. Considering they are from Japan, the names of the genres are not kinds that can be found in the USA.
Here's some of them

Mecha - Futuristic (All mecha must have robots). Audience range is pretty much everyone. [Ex. Code Geass]
Shounen - Childish. Directed at children (mostly boys) at ages 10-14 [Ex. Fairy Tail]
Shoujo - Childish. Directed mostly at young girls ages 8-14
Ecchi - Erotic. Directed at an older audience.
Harem - Often a protagonist character surrounded by multiple characters of the opposite sex. Usually related with comedy/romance. Audience range varies. [Ex. Date A Live]
Yaoi/Yuri - Yaoi means "boys love" and yuri means "girls love". Both are erotic genres directed at an older audience. (18+ only)
Samurai - Often takes place in the Edo period of Japan. Specific genres can vary. Audience range varies, but usually for everyone. [Ex. Gin Tama]
Seinen - Anime intended for males of older audience-by definition. [Ex. Cowboy Bebop]

These, plus all the regular genres. There's anime for pretty much all the genres.
