Intro: Well hello there! If you don't know yet, my name is Ryan. I'm writing one of these because I believe that I'll make a great part of the staff team, I really do hope you agree! As I love being part of this community, and want to be a bigger part of it. I've been on this server since April 2012, and I've loved every single part of it. I really couldn't ask for a better server. Recently, I tried out for the basketball team at my middle school, and I work my butt off, and because of it I ended up making the "A" team! Also, I am part of our school's Leadership team, which is basically Student Counsel. I have a huge role in being part of both of these groups, one I have to keep my grades up, which I have because I pay attention in class. Two, I have to have a great relationship with everyone in the school to be on the team and be part of the student counsel. I know I can extend all this knowledge to meepcraft. I don't believe, I know I can.


Experience: Okay, let’s get started. I've been on this server for almost 2 years, I play almost every day, so basically that's about 657 days...phew, that's a lot. And I've enjoyed every moment of it. Okay let’s get back to the topic. I've played on numerous servers where they're staff are just flat out horrible. I've learned from what they do, compared to all our staff members, there’s a huge difference, and I think I've spotted the difference between the two, and I'll try not to do what they do. I've seen almost every ban happen on this server, and I pretty much know most of the punishments for almost every single ban/kick. I want to expand my experience on this server from a normal citizen to a helper that everyone knows, and likes. That’s one of my goals for this server.


Work Ethic: Believe it or not, I hate working. Even though I hate working I still continue to work my butt off no matter what the task is. From a one word essay to a 1000 word essay, I don’t like doing those, but it doesn’t matter. You still have to do it anyway. One of my favorite sayings is “if you don’t work, nothing will” I’ve lived by that saying since I was 5. And, I still do to this day. I always try to do something as fast as possible, but as neat as possible. If I don’t meet those, I always have time to do it over. When I get assigned homework, I do it the night I get it assigned, I don’t do it the night it’s due. Same with long-term-assignments, it might be do like a month later, but I start it as soon as possible, and have it done like a week or two before the date it’s due. I’ll extend this into the server as much as possible.


Involvement: I do as much as possible in the meepcraft community, I want to participate in a lot of events in the server, but sometimes can’t because I have things for school that I need to work on, I wish I could do like the MeepOlympics or like the PvP teams that there always are. I participated in the secret santa that @osymigosy did. That was a joy, and I wish I could do one of those kind of events like that, but just don’t have enough meebles, or the time to do it. I like chatting on teamspeak now that I have a good microphone, which helps a lot, and also I love participating in Skype calls. I try to be as involved in the meep community as much as I possibly can. If not, I try to be part of it in a different sort of way, like give away some meebles, or host a drop party at spawn for the new people that need something to start out with.


Performance: I try to get as much done in the least amount of time, but done correctly, if it isn’t done correctly, then I’ll always have the time to go back and do it correctly. Just like basketball, if I can’t do a move the correct way, then I’ll work on it with my dad until I can perfect it to the way I want it, and I head to practice, and I’m like the best one out there, because I’m the only one who actually practices at home.


Weaknesses:

Immaturity: I’m not as bad as it used to be, I’ve worked on it so much, and that’s why you haven’t seen an application from me for a while. I’ve worked on it a lot. Trust me.

Arguing: I’ve also worked on this one, but it still happens sometimes, if I believe I’m correct I defend my case until someone finally says “okay, you’re correct”. But I’ve worked on it a lot, and I’ve noticed I don’t do it very much anymore.


Conclusion: I’ve worked hard on this app, and I truly hope you consider me as a helper, I think I have great potential. If you don’t believe so, just let me know, so that way I can work on it, so you and I don’t have to deal with it anymore. Even though I hate writing 1000 word essays, I just did. This application is about 1000 words long, not exactly, but very close. I love enjoying the meep community just as much as you probably do. I dont trust you to make informed decisions and to talk to players without offending them.

You tend to be excessively rude to people, both in game and on the forums, and while I see you only/on the forums, you mostly just seem to make snide comments and not help out at all.

The application was alright, but you tended to contradict yourself.

I mean, I'm fine with sarcasm. I'm sarcastic sometimes, though never when dealing with someone who doesnt know I'm joking. But you go over the line way to often for me to trust you.

Let me point out a few examples on the forums, to start.

Theres being argumentative and there's being outright rude and insulting. I feel like if a user were to argue with you, you'd say things like this.

Someone asked you what your ign is. Why did you have to get so exasperated?

This was on a staff application. After someone proved your single reason for a -1 wrong.

These are just a few. A lot of your posts and a lot of what you say in game is just plain rude and very easy to take the wrong way.

I've been slightly supportive of your apps in thd past, but as your activity has improved, your temper has become much more prominent.

 

I've noticed that a lot also, thank you for pointing that out, it really helps. I've been working as hard as possible to not say things like that.
