Introduction: My name is McTrapster, but i go by my nickname which is Cody. I'm 14 which i know usually leads people to believe im gonna be immature, but as much as i do like to joke around with things, i can be serious with most things. I've been around on MeepCraft for... Roughly a year. Returning after about 2-3 month leave. With my new laptop ill be able to get on more and have recently been on a lot (even through the nigh x.x) I don't really participate in the Global Chat ( or /shout) because it is a lil fast pace and confusing to me. I talk a lot with some people like Jwarian who runs the town i live in. And little do regular things to help my town like demo/construction work for little or no pay.

Why you should be Helper?: I would like to be a helper to increase my area of influence a lil more, instead of a town, help all of MeepCraft. After several other servers i've checked this is the one i really love the most and i want to make sure and help it continue being the best. I'm a good people person and love working along side others. I joke around with close friends, but in business im pretty serious. I have worked with a guy named Gengarx33 who started a server called GengarCraft, me along with a few other mods helped run the site and i did get a few good reviews. Plus a lot of the other players loved talking to me and hanging out.

Weaknesses: I usually over think things, but when my mind is made up, its almost impossible to change. I also have a strong hate for griefing and stealing when others have worked hard for the things they've earned. I do think i can improve on this by maybe loosening up a little bit and listening to both sides of a story a little more.

Conclusion: I know i'm not that active with the global community, and i don't have a teamspeak or skype as of yet. I can always improve and quickly change those. My age will probably raise a few red flags of course. But i can assure you i can handle myself and take charge when needed. I have talked to a few helpers, and mods who seem to enjoy my company. I've had some experience with being a mod (in training) on an old server which was pretty popular on the cracked server list. I love working with people and i do know my weaknesses could pose a threat so i'm willing and ready to try and fix them anyway i can. I hope you give me the chance to help the server and if you ever need me you can probably pm me on the server anytime.

This is basically an auto-deny.
You are required to have a skype and a teamspeak.

If you read the Compulsory Application Format & Tips thread you'd have regarded the fact that is says teamspeak activity is required. A requirement is meant to have already been achieved in order to perform as certain action, in this case: apply. You cannot apply and tell us that only if you're accepted will you get a skype and a teamspeak and then be active on there. No. This shows lack of commitment and effort.

Even so -1 on the rest:

I've never seen you around in-game. A big part is connecting to the community and you've failed to do this. You're not even active enough on forums. Your application should not be one of your first post counts.

The provided reasons for acceptance weren't the best nor were they well elaborated on. Please expand on these points.

The weakness was not very well explained until the last sentence. Take the rest out and this is merely a sentence long.

Conclusion - You regard the fact that you do not have teamspeak or skype. How bold of you. As I previously mentioned, you need to already have these prior. And your age does not matter.

 

no im not stating that i will only get teamspeak IF i get accepted, and i do in fact know that i need skype and temaspeak, which im working on right now. i was simply posting this because i need to download everything and it usually takes awhile for people to read this and reply. So i didnt mean to post this and get it shot down right away. I will be meeting requirements in about twenty minutes

Not only that, do you not understand what it means to be active?
You need to have been active on teamspeak, which means you needed to have been on there a lot. The fact that you're doing all of this last minute makes me frown so much. It says so much and I can assure you that none of it is positive. I trust that you're smart enough to know what I mean. And arguing your case will not make things any better considering it makes it look like you're just brushing aside what points the community is giving you to work on.

Edit: Refer back to my former post, even refer back to the post before mine. In-game activity is not the only place where you're lacking. Even so, I can only see this as an excuse. Why apply whilst you're having such trouble with your new pc? That doesn't strike me as sensible in any way. Even then it does not cover up the fact that you're not very active with the Meepcraft community in general. But ok.

 

im not trying to argue, but getting a new pc takes alot of work to set up. and i dont see why me trying to show improvement to the cause. I clearly said that i will do whatever i need to to improve. I know i may be irritating by doing this and i assure u this is my last reply. And i have said the thing about the global chat, and the forums i know i havent really been on that i can assure u i will fix. but my activity on the global shouldn't be counting against me as i simply do not like it. that and i do wish for some leave way

Since I have gotten to know you over the past several months, this is not going to be an easy decision for me.

• You are a very kind person and willing to help people in the town or help with town projects, and that is great.
• I think your in-game activity is great, but step up and start helping people in /shout who need help. This is also a great way to get known in the community more.
• You really should get a TeamSpeak and a Skype account. These are vital to becoming a staff member, and you will use them all the time. Well, mainly the Skype, but TeamSpeak is still highly important for me.
• You are very active now, but you very recently came back from being inactive for almost a month or two.
• Your app could have been so much better. I know you are capable of more, and you aren't showing off what you can do.

I would really like to see you reapply in about a month or so that way you can get more familiar with the community, and you will get a better evaluation from the community when they know you more. I know you are capable of a much better application, and want to see a better one when you apply, a well thought out one.

Also, please take into account what _Lizzer (StopResetting) is saying. She is very good at these, and knows how to inform people of what they need to improve on.

You fulfill these, I can see you getting Helper in the future, just not now.

No skype, and no teamspeak. If you understood that these were required, it would have been in your best interest to obtain and familiarize your self with these before submitting an application.
