    IGN(In Game Name): hforn
Bug: cross Island travel via nether
    Time/Date: 12/29/13 7:30 pacific time zone
Steps to reproduce: travel through nether from a players nether spawn
Evidence: Earlier Today me and Amazon3d were messing around at each others Islands and we discovered that if you know the nether spawn of a players portal is, you can build a portal there and travel to their Island. I am not sure if this would be considered a bug/glitch but I think it should be looked into and changed. This could be very dangerous for Islanders because they could have a dug out central area in the nether and somebody seeing this and knowing about this portal travel glitch could build a portal near were the room is and potentially get to the other persons Island. Once at their island there is no telling what they will do. They could blow up chests with creepers, grief stuff, take advantage of villagers, blow up mob grinders, or even kill the owner or any other players. This needs to be changed or fixed to prevent any potential Island to Island travel between players.

    No replies on this?
This has potential to ruin SB if enough people figure it out.

I was surprised too. I would have thought someone would have considered this important enough to investigate.

i think i mentioned this in one of the threads about adding nether to sb... atm i think that you can report the player on trespassing because they trespassed an area which isnt suppose to trespass-able.

Simple fix: Place a little room with a door into the nether portal area, or just use a fence wall. And, make it be light up.

in the nether you can build and that creates a new portal in the overworld

finally!!!! and yes masterdude you are 100% right all of this is applicable and by decoding the formula for blocks in nether difference to blocks in overworld difference anyone is able to travel to anyon elses island whether their warp is off or not. By using the formula for your coordinates you can travel to specific places and be as accurate as a single block.

Anyone who goes through this trouble would be banned for trespassing, for it is impossible to construct the nether portal without leaving a record. Nonetheless they will try, an immediate fix could just be disabling the placement of obsidian in the nether via worldgaurd or something, idk.

Simple fix, disable portal access in nether.

I've been to other people's island via this method, I told Hforn about it awhile back and we tested to see if it was truly accurate.

Or just disable anything that starts fires in the nether, if they wanna blow something up they can use a bed x'D ( I don't know why I added the bed part :p )

idk if u get it but its still not trespassing if u weren't banned from the island and also disabling obby placement is a horrible solution and to be able to use portal travel u need to figure out the coord formula and know there coords to their island

The skyblock has reset so this is resolved until the issue is needed to be looked at again.
