Scott11B's Staff Application (Helper)

I remember when you applied for staff way back when and you were denied. You then applied again and were accepted. You were a pretty good Helper/TrialMod/Mod from my experiences with you and you did extremely well. The only problem I ever got was when you arose to higher ranks, mainly during MN.

However, I still support you and I'm going to +1 this.

I saw lots of your "superior's" opinions during MN, and you were easily one the staff I despised the most for your actions. You acted very negative and grouchy when dealing with the ex-staff mainly because they denied you previously for "not being popular enough." That was something you stressed a lot. "Staff is no longer a popularity contest;" we all saw how THAT ended up. I doubt you will do this again, but I have my worries.

This is very nicely explained. It's nice to see staff who under this: I was able to write an official apology following my actions, but the damage was done. I've seen you in game a couple times, and I'm rarely in game myself so your activity is fine.

Good luck with the application, you deserve to get an interview.

 

This is probably one of the best apps in awhile.... I'm not on all that much but from what everyone else is saying, you seem worthy of staff.

While you aren't that active, you've indeed earned some respect from me while you were in the higher ranks. You work hard and are very consistent with your work. Your inactivity shouldn't be an issue since you are back. Everyone has a life outside this game. As long as you log on regularly, you'll do fine. When it came to your moments of anger and when people have condescended to you, I've always seen them happen at appropriate moments. Which helps support the claim that you are assertive. This may not be a necessary quality for a helper, but if and when you rank up it will work out for the best on your part. Overall, +1 for this application. Scott, I wish you the best of luck.

Anyway to be honest... you were never fit for a staff position, yeah you had some good moments with CG but you gave up too much and never seemed to really want to listen to new ideas. Therefore you becoming staff makes me think what will you do this time??Resign because the community doesn't like you as staff?Like last time?? To be honest scott, you did know how to sweet talk your way out of things...and cover up well but that wont get you far, I wish you good luck.

I loved the application, I think it might have been the longest one I have seen in a while.

I personally only have seen good things come from you. Over-qualified, and you would do an amazing job in my opinion.

I have had some experiences with you and with those I've only had positives.

On the down side, I never really see you much on ts or in shout.

Back, just in time to leave my two cents on this.

I know that I've had a bad history with staff on staff apps, but if it means this being the only one I'm allowed to comment on, than so be it. I've worked with this guy through thick and thin, and over time, he became the best guy I could ever ask to work with.

He's efficient, he's logical, and he's trustworthy. He works well under pressure, and he knows how to deal with people. As a staff sergeant in the US Army, he's got experience and grit that few others here can compare with. In his time back on MN, he was the real leader, the guy who stood up when something wasn't right, the guy who you could count on when things looked pretty grim.

I'm glad that he's coming back to staff, and he's really one of the most deserving.

Hire this man, you won't regret it. He's already done so much for this server, and I know he can do a lot more.
