I don't think the price will go down as the in-game price is determined by supply and demand. The same amount of people are still looking to purchase ranks in-game and even if there is more people supplying, the amount of people wanting a rank is higher.
Although, if you do find a rank seller and you can convince them that since they are paying less for it, you should too, than you can do that (totally something I never have done when buying stuff).
