Hello!!! (For the last three years, I've had issues posting on the forums.. thankfully I got it to work this time!)
TEN years ago, I applied for staff. I was a young, innocent, 15-year-old gamer who had no regard for adulting and real life. Now, I'm finishing my masters in Cybersecurity Management, approaching three years at my office job, and have aspirations to move to New York. I turned 25(!!!) and hit my quarter life crisis, am still dating the same man who I treasure dearly, and Metr0n0me still has a girlfriend (unrelated but when are you proposing dude????)
This past year was a year extreme growth and change for me. I took moved to the city, see friends often, started and finished therapy, and discovered newfound confidence in finding my place in this world. Moving out of my parents' house was a scare of mine once, but I'm now past it... Literally! Goodbye youth, you were good to me, and now is time for the exciting time that is young adulthood!
I had a short Minecraft phase in December, where I hopped across a few towns. Minecraft still tends to be my depression game, but I have fond memories of MeepCraft in 2016. Meep is the reason I drew to becoming social and made friends from all sorts of backgrounds. Roaming the forums will always be a special form of nostalgia, and I wonder where the community has been. I remember there was a Discord once, but I can't be bothered (edited note - Thank you Vexmae on Discord for fixing my forum issues!!!).
