doesn’t seem like xray to me at least not something so blatant it cant be explained by just lucky tunneling. could they be xraying? maybe but nothing in either of those videos seems like anything more than just luck

Lucky tunneling is highly unlikely. I want to believe it isn’t x-ray, but after going through the video I’ll put in some context.
When using x-ray, it is likely that the user will be looking around for ores through surfaces. Although yes, he did mine a lot of exposed ore, he happened to mine a handful of unexposed ore. And every time he did that “lucky tunneling” it led to ore. Here are some times that made me believe it was x-ray.
At 1:54 he was looking down through the ground for a longer than normal period of time for ores.
The giveaway was between 4:23-4:33 where you can see that he has stopped for a longer than normal period of time to look at a vein of ore. He then shuts his client off to see where he is going and goes immediately to it and mines it. It was unexposed and this part of the clip looks especially fishy
4:42. He stops again and shifts, most likely mis-clicking and turns a client on/off. Turns around and mines unexposed ore.
5:06: mines more unexposed ore
At this point in time, the two rarest ores in the game were diamond, which he had an abundance of, and coal. In this video he mined 3 veins of unexposed coal in 40 seconds. This is either a case of an unlikely string of lucky mining, or Izzst wasn’t being careful enough hiding his client. I think the timeframe from 4:20-5:15 is alarming.
