there was an exploit with the fishing rod where you could hit anyone and everyone with it even with no pvp on, but since that was patched it made the fishing rod not work at all even for its main purpose of pvp & when you try and rod someone it takes way more durability than it should, hence in the video my fishing rod was at full dura then broke in like 12 swings
still does a good job of catching fish tho
