Im just wondering if you have read the information about what towny extreme is, because the main idea of it, is that it is a separate world, new economy, no perks etc. slightly different from alpha beta but a new take on towny at that.
Here is the information from the town hall notes.
Towny extreme
Stuff (meebles, items) from current towny will not transfer to towny extreme.
The currency and items of towny extreme will be entirely separate from the main world.
Entirely different gameplay styles - No teleporting at all (no pwarps, sethomes, etc) except to the towny spawn. No vshop or jobs either. Towny war is on, along with a bounties plugin. Mobs and bosses will wander the world.
Upon death, you will respawn in world spawn. You will lose all your items, but not your money or towny stats.
Most donator perks, including fly, won’t work. This world is intended to be perk-less.
The world has an entirely custom terrain in both the overworld and nether. There will be no separate resource world. Towny wild will be editable. Railroads will be protected from grief, as will nether tunnels.
Towns will be able to be made in the nether and end as well. End and nether travel will be difficult.
Everyone will start in the same location. There will be a buffer around spawn to prevent towns taking over it.
The main source of meebles will be dungeons. There are currently 12 dungeons being developed, more will be added. A new custom quest system will be tied into the dungeons with mobs and bosses.
Events and quests will bring in custom items and custom recipes.
