Why has there been no given statement for the server being in this state, is it because the members will be mocked or has there literally been no progress from "api being worked on" either way it's apauling to see the server like this.

tbh i think people have just given up on the server. i havent been on in months and only now have i been checking in once a day or so, but it's just in an empty toxic state. and yes i will say toxic because of how distasteful i've seen some posts on here

its also probably one of the reasons why no one comes on anymore

Currently, major progress is being made on the revamp and it should be launched in the near future. Pretty sure you've heard that "the revamp is gonna be massive and game-changing" plenty already but there are genuinely major changes coming that I think people will really like.

That's great to hear, it would be a good idea for someone with power to make a statement anyhow for the general public about what progress has been made with the revamp to keep players interested because its always been like this which in my opinion is counter productive because the number of players losing faith only rises the longer there's silence. Open the curtain to things that are certainly happening, if there's still uncertainty then I understand why there's silence.

yeah I've heard lots of people (especially clue) talk about major updates but I agree, someone should probably put up a forum post here or something about it so everyone is in the know

it's more of toxic staff running the server and driving people away on top of the server being blacklisted and having no new players coming in, which deprives the server of any attention or popularity

seeing all of this talk about "STAFF CALLING EVERYONE TOXIC" really brings me back, for years from 2012 to 2015 there were absolutely no rules against toxicity and i remember many many times when people got mad at me for talking trash to them in shout or on forums and the staff just sat there like "well he hasn't broken any rules" and i was 11-14 so obviously i thought i was king of the world typing "LOL NO RULE BRO UR MAD"

most of the stuff i was saying was pretty mild (if u play fps games/gta or anything like that), usually just "you're an idiot" "i have ebola" "you are so stupid [insert some insult]", but i still think it's kind of interesting how the server was most popular when it did have no rules against any of that, though i guess that has far more to do with mc being more popular as a whole

I got bored and decided to get staff on an account where i had been constructively posting for several months (mb over a year idk), i got a $5 walmart mic that constantly cut out and actually used a voice changer so they wouldn't tell my voice was the same as the last interview i did, got accepted and it was kind of lame apart from spergs getting upset in global chat that "THIS GUY I DON'T KNOW IS STAFF", but hey it was famouszamos so i guess i shouldn't be surprised he was taking meepcraft seriously again

there was almost zero activity compared to the last time I was staff (in slack and staff chat), i got the impression that nothing really went on and if it did it was contingent on lord doing some coding stuff bc hes the only guy they have (heard that once)

I'm probably going to get banned just for writing this, just tryna help you guys out and give u some insight into the situation since some people still care, sorry but this server is a thing of the past and absolutely nothing will save it now, id venture to guess it's about a year too late anyway, and it will be well over a year too late by the time they complete this pointless "revamp"
