this is a pretty major issue because like 99% of casual minecraft players go on the 'latest version' which auto updates(its the default i think)

a potential new player could try and log in on 1.13 and instantly be kicked and then be like, welp this server is broken
there is NO way to communicate to the people having this issue that they need to switch off of 1.13 unless they make a forum post like this

A lot of people actually do get to ask what the problem is (in game) and get the advice to switch to 1.12, but you are probably right that some players see the issue and immediately move on to the next server.

This is not an issue related to a Meepcraft plugin, so it cannot truly be fixed at this time. It is also under the 1.13 bugs section. Moving this to denied.
